Kalahari Desert

We had a comfortable stay here for one night. The staff was attentive and meals were of a high standard. The lodge dog Olive is adorable. 

The room was a bit underwhelming with not much charm or style but other than that enjoyed our stay. 

We did a game drive and saw rhinos and giraffes. We skipped the cheetah feeding. They have kindly adopted some orphaned jackels and it was a rare opportunity to get up close which was really interesting.

Comfortable stay

We had a very nice Bungalow, 2c, directly on on the waterhole.
We have seen many animals the whole day.

The dinner an breakfast was very delicious. The prices for the drinks was low.

We recommended this lodge.

Very nice Lodge

You never expect such a beautiful place in this surrounding. Very good value for the price!! Only the pool is a little bit small and not well maintained (in August). But a place we could recommend at all.

Oase in der Wüste

It was a perfect stay.
Great hospitability, great chalet, good food and an incredible view (view on water hole from the bedroom).
We enjoyed our stay a lot (family with one kid).
Also sundowner game drive was worth to do.


Perfect stay

We have a two night stay at the lodge. We a in the room next to the waterhole. Pitty we didn't see so much animals, but on the game drive we spotted even the 2 rhino's. Staff is friendly, attent, and they want to have you a good time. Feeding of the cheeta's was nice. It was a more than pleasant stay. Highly recommended.

Perfect stay, super staff

Very classy lodge, with immaculate lawn at its centre. Comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast on the terrace. I’d recommend the evening wildlife tour, where one can see lots of different animals. And you have the very unusual opportunity of patting two cheetahs on the head…

Beautiful place, lots of animals

We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the tents. Very comfortable with shower. There is also a kettle in the tents and air conditioning. The tent is walking distance to the restaurant & pool area. There are also chalets that face the dam where we saw springbok, rhino, giraffe come to drink water. The restaurants food was absolutely delicious. We had breakfast, lunch & dinner. Excellent service.

LAPA LANGE GAME LODGE

We stayed for 2 nights at Lapa Lange at the end of our Namibia trip.

The layout of the rooms with the main building and the waterhole is very good but the rooms themselves have not been thought out.

The toilet is through a door at one side of the bed but to then wash your hands you have to walk all the way round the bed go through another door where the wash basin and shower is. The only power point is also just inches above the wash basin! The main door to the room is totally frosted glass with no curtain, so lets all the light in. In other lodges at you can lie in bed and look out of the window but here instead of patio doors there is a long desk and just a small window above...all very strange.

The food was good but essentially the same both nights, it was also the only breakfast we had where the fruit salad was out of a tin.

The cheetah encounter however made you forget all the issues as it was amazing. Entering the enclose on foot with just the ranger to be greeted by 2 full grown cheetahs who just wanted love,...they were just big pussy cats.

This is the best place to get spoilt in Namibia! From the booking by a very friendly and professional Magda to each and every staff member! And the owners are hands-on, friendly and very aware of the needs of a tourist/traveler. The lodge is a gem with all the necessary amenities - and you get spoilt from entering reception - warm towels to wipe your hands and a welcoming drink. Cocktails super, breakfast lovely and dinner was the highlight with the best ever springbok steak we have eaten. Chalets lovely and luxury. And the waterhole with game a super bonus - on your doorstep and in front of the chalets. 

The best experience of my holiday in Kgalagadi and Namibia!

All good overnight lodging choice with specific shout-outs to super staff Jafat and Selma who were particularly attentive and committed. Room and dining were good. The waterhole is a plus and the Cheetah Walk (a must do) adjacent to the main lodge is awesome.
