39 reviewsMy wife and me stayed at Mother's for 6 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Our third floor room was very clean and nice. Mothers has excellent security and hotel management are genuinely concerned about guests security and enjoyment. Mother's provide an excellent breakfast with a choice of Myanmar of western foods. We spent a lot of time exploring the area during daylight and at night and always felt safe. There is a huge and very authentic market nearby; you will not find it in any tourists guides. There is an outdoor restaurant close by (walk out the front door, turn right and walk appox 200 mtrs) under trees with excellent, well priced food. We walked to a nearby convenience store after 9.00 pm a few nights with no problems at all. Yangon central is only 10 to 15 minutes away by a nz $4.00 Grab taxi ride. Grab is great! Mothers gave us an authentic taste of Myanmar hospitality; very humble and genuine.
