Central Hotel Yangon

Every room in this hotel is different but furnished in a harmonious local style. Though it is a 2-star hotel, yet East is comfortable and clean with functioning WLAN in the rooms and a great shower. Notably, it is the only hotel of its class in central Yangon that offers a safe and a window in every room.
The breakfast is basic, but at such a cheap accommodation price, you should not ask for more 

The traditional hotel of Yangon (Rangoon) has the best sea food menu in its grand old restaurant with good visinity to Hindu Temples and Mosque. The traditional festivals happening in its banquet halls are real treat to guests

I stayed in this hotel. I stayed one night on 23 June '19. They allowed me early check in at 8 am as I had an overnight bus travel from Bagan to Yangon. This was great for me. Staff are smiling and very much courteous.  Rooms are clean.  Good for low budget stay.

I stayed for my 1st night arrival in Yangon. I continued staying in this same hotel for the 2 more nights after my Golden Rock trip.
What I like about this hotel:
1. The location is strategic and it is about 5 minutes walk to the shopping mall and market.
2.We are allowed to put our big luggage in this hotel for overnight during our Golden Rock trip.
3. Free  water bottle
4. Coffee and milk tea provided
5.Kettle to boil water provided
6. Quite spacious room

What I dont like about this hotel:
1. The pillow is too soft
2. Weak wifi during my 1st night stay at 2nd floor.However, I didnt face weak wifi when stayed at 6th floor.
3. Low water pressure for my room at 6th floor.

Overall, I like this hotel a  lot due to location.

Hotel room is clean, spacious and quiet. Beds are hard but somehow we slept well. I would eat elsewhere for breakfast - not great. Its easy to find great food in the city!

I hope in the future, they will stop wrapping every new towel in plastic though!!

Best thing about this hotel is that is close to everything so you can just walk to them. Breakfast was good too. Room service staffs were nice and friendly. Bad things are the water pressure is so low for shower that is impossible to get a good shower especially on the 5th floor. The rooms are very tired too and in need of an urgent update. Plus the noise from the road and the building site opposite the hotel was unbearable at night to get a good sleep.

Great location but old hotel.

This was our last hotel during our trip to Myanmar and definitely the worst.

The hotel was very dated and tired which we could have looked past if the rooms weren't also dirty. There was dust all around the room and a dirty mark on the pillow. We also had a room at the front which felt dark, the ceilings had been lowered to allow for the Aircon units but this made the rooms feel much smaller. It was just a bit depressing! There is also no working safe in the rooms, but they do offer safety deposit boxes I believe at reception. 

We had a look at the breakfast but chose to eat out. The selection was very limited with the only cereal on offer being cornflakes.

Overall we were surprised this place was 3stars, it had a good location but they really need to give some attention to the upkeep and cleanliness.

Dated, tired and dirty but good location

I remind the traveller if you don't know local language, better not stay here
Eventhough you use Google translate
I ask since day 1 until day 4 for boiled egg 10 minutes was not working
I already used Google translate, the chef said ok but don't understand actually
