Tazekka Parc Hotel

The road through the spectacular gorge was so bad, that we thought we had made a mistake in trying to stay here. However!….. a real find. Simple spotless and modern accommodation, with a from but comfy bed, good shoes we, even if the hot tap is cold, and vice versa but have found that often in Morocco. Stunning night sky, as no pollution. Blissfully quiet …. Well until the donkeys’ braying let us know they had turned up for the road works, but that was the next morning, so can’t grumble! Really nice evening meal, and an excellent breakfast including with some delicious mountain honey, for the small pancakes. Scenery breathtaking. We didn’t go back down the gorge, but went on to Taza, which was a much easier route. Would be a wonderful centre for hiking,
