Superb place. The staff, the breakfast, the location, the views, everything was really well done.  Room was really well decorated.  Everyone who works there is really nice and helpful.  We would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay for few nights right in the middle of Casbah. It was peaceful and quiet with very polite and helpful hosts. Excellent place to stay. Still, upon your arrival, we recommend calling the reception, because at least for the first time in Tanger, it would have been tricky to find the place.

Right inside the kasbah, near one of the main entrance , near the kasbah museum and inside a small peaceful street !

Stayed here for 9 nights to absorb the essence of Tangiers. Ahmed was extremely helpful with all manner of queries and very helpful in arranging an intensive  Arabic language course and watercolour art lessons for me. Located round the corner from the Musee de Kasbah and one of the best veiwing points of the medina, its an 8min walk to the Grand Socco through the winding medina or straight down the Rue de Kasbah.Breakfast is a selection of breads and eggs with fresh juice/tea.With 3 rooms and 2 suites its a quiet,cosy haven in a serene location. Two terraces with great views over the corniche as well as a sizable sun lounge. Art pieces by the owner are on display in the ground floor.

Perfect place to explore the Kasbah- with art!

Wonderful few nights in Tanger

wonderful experience

This unique and authentic place is truly memorable! The young man who greeted us upon arrival was very helpful and thoughtful and spoke surprisingly good english (compared to some other people we met in Tangiers). We had book a Junior suite, which in all quirkyness was an experience! Windows opening up to the lobby, inside the property; shower tucked on the back of a cave-like rock wall... The roof terrace has amazing views over the old town and the harbour and the breakfast we had up there was stunning. We were so amazed by the amount of the food and drinks the young man brought to table that we had to ask, if it really was just for the two of us. "This is the smallest possible moroccon breakfast" he replied. 😁 Even though the hotel seemed to be quite fully booked we didn't really see or meet other guests so it felt private and peaceful.
A couple of downsides though.. All of the windows that opened up to the lobby, inside the building, could not be shut properly, so we kind of felt like being in the same space as the public area of the hotel. It felt like everyhting we said or did could be heard from the lobby. No tv in the room, WiFi didn't work (except on the roof), no safety box, no fridge, no A/C (just a fan). This hotel is extremely hard to find if you approach from the old town hussle and buzzle. I have never ever been in a place that is such a maze!! A tip I would give to people searching for this hotel is to enter from a harbour side stairs along the city wall, get close to the Kasbah museum and once you get there check a map or ask someone. Otherwise you might end up searching and walking and getting lost for hours!

This place ruined our weekend in tangier!!! The recepcionist unpolite and  rude. Unprofessional service.

I will choose another place to stay for sure. There are plenty of wonderful riads in mo Never again
