Clean hotel but terrible team

While in the evening the busy pedestrian crowds fill the walkways in large numbers, the guest on the roof terrace can plunge into a green oasis of tranquility and enjoy sea views and sunsets. In the center, Flandria is a real place of well-being. The bathroom is state-of-the-art in a black and white look - a real surprise. It is a historic hotel in the historic centre of Tangier, currently undergoing renovation of its bars and restaurant. It needs to be renovated, including the furnishings of the rooms, to restore its historical splendor.

It's impossible to sleep here: suffocating rooms, doors that only close by knocking, you feel like you're sleeping in the hallway. You wonder how they got their four stars. The staff is scandalously servile to foreign tourists but disgusting to Moroccans. We came in family with our baby's nanny: they refused to let her sign at the restaurant to write down our bill and left them without dinner. A hotel to absolutely avoid.

It's an awful service.

I was very pleasantly surprised to see the changes after the closure, apart from the usual professional reception of the team, the place took a young shot, the price ratio is very reasonable, some improvements on the restaurant side, but basically they are above average.

Calm and Clean

The truth is that it has surprised me quite a bit, since some friends were there in 2014 and their experience was not very good. It has changed a lot, excellent cleaning, very comfortable, spacious, well equipped rooms and best of all, its location, you can go to any interesting place on foot, as it is located just at the entrance of one of the streets of the Boulevard, the main artery of Tangier.
