The riad is beautiful, the staff is great. The hosts are very helpful and kind. The bedrooms are nice. There is a beautiful roof top area to chill out and a very nice lounge/dining room for breakfast or work.

Small and nice hotel inside Assilah´s Medina. Anna and Said are a great hosts. The breakfasts are really good with a big variety of meals. The surroundind narrow streets are very quiet and plenty of handcrafted shops. The top terrace invites You to have good moment in a special atmosphere. The rooms are fully equiped and comfortable. All the staff are very helpful, sympatetic and take care of everything.

A charming place in Assilah medina. The staff is extremely kind and committed to make the stay a peaceful and comfortable experience. Breakfast is plenty and delicious. We received very useful advices about places to visit and where to taste local food. All rooms (we were a group of nine people) are exquisitely decorated and cosy, and everything works properly. 

One of the best places Ive been in ever. Small but clean and cozy. The rooms smell good and have everything you may need. The stuff are beyond friendly. They’re very hospitable, cheerful and trustworthy. Would definitely go back again.

Lovely riad and owner who, when I left an item behind, got in a taxi and rushed to the station to give it to me ! That is totally priceless service !! The riad is quiet and immaculate and deserves many more stars than five ! Great coffee and a gorgeous upstairs terrace too !!

I am writing to review the hammam and massage given at Dar Marana. I did not know what to expect and decided to do it right before the flight home. I have had many massages around the world this was truly one of the best and most relaxing! So surprising. It truly reflects the kind and gentle energy of the Moroccans

Stepping into Dar Menara is like stepping into a calming oasis. This Riad is stunning down to the fine details- the tiles, fabrics, decor, music, everything. Ana is a wonderful host who goes out of her way to ensure you have everything you need. The Riad is centrally located in the Medina, meaning you can easily come back and just enjoy your room or the rooftop balcony throughout the day. Highly, highly recommend.

If you are looking for a great riad experience in assilah, go to dar manara. The rooms are very well decorated, it is super clean and you will be welcomed very warmly.
I loved that they play some very relaxing and beautiful music and the breakfast is delicious!
I highly recommend it if you wanna stay in the heart of the medina in assilah.

We had a lovely stay at Dar Manara! The location in the middle of the medina is perfect and there is a large overnight parking at the Porte de la Mer. The rooms are nice and clean, the breakfast was more than generous and the roof top terrace is very nice too. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave us good tips for restaurants, beaches and a great hammam experience. Overall a perfect stay.

the riad is nice and petit but it is well run. Ana is a great host and she would do anything to make you feel like home. We had few luggages and she instated to give us a bigger room, she has always been helpful and available to help us. All in all the hotel is really nice with a really friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Centrally located within the old beautiful Medina at the ocean. Very friendly staff. Room was quite cold. Staff provided plenty blankets upon request.
Any sounds from the open courtyard were very audible. Few rooms, few people, so OK. Enjoyed the charming tiles, lamps & layout of this authentic riad.

We stayed one night here. The host, Said, is very helpful and kind. The building is decorated in an authentic style. The breakfast was very good. There is a terrace with a dining area that is protected from the wind and rain which was good since we visited in late November. Asilah is a great place to visit with lots of art and no hassles.

Gracious host and nice terrace 

We were offered a larger bedroom than the one we had booked, with no extra charge. It was lovely, apart from the aforementioned single beds. Make sure to request the bed you want in advance. The staff are all very accommodating. Be sure, as well, to take advantage of the terrace on the upper floor. it is a spacious, delightful area where we spent several hours just chilling and enjoying the sunshine, (in November!). The décor was beautiful, with lots of plants in the typically large Moroccan pots. Carmen provided us with a map of the town and suggestions of things we could do, where to eat, etc. 
If you are travelling at this time of year (winter) be sure to bring some warm clothes as it can be quite cold at night.
