hostel Grazella

Nice clean place near the coast and adjacent to the old Médina. Great value! Amazing shower! Ocean view from the terrace. Nice communal kitchen. They can do laundry and provide meals for a fair price.

I really liked it . It has a nice strategic  location, overlooking to the sea ... the owner is so friendly and kind ... everything is next to it " souq , cafes , restaurants, monuments , beach ... " the hotel is traditional modern also ,   very clean tho , in safe area ... for me it's from the best and nicest hotel tht I 've ever been in , I ll always keep coming to it when I get the chance ... I advice u guys to visit it  , u won't regret :) 

We had a warm welcome from our host with fresh tea and some baked goods. 
The room in general was pretty basic but the kitchen in the house was open for or use. 
The view from the terras alone was worth the stay. 
The next day the host, who is a licensed tour guide, showed us around the city and the medina. 
You can also get home made food, and it was very good, if you would like instead of going to a restaurant. 
When we left he also helped us greatly for our further travels

Awesome hotel 

Great spot to relax

Good location , price, and owner who speaks good English . The downsides are that there is no service at all, no one cleans, no one offered any kind of food/ breakfast , and one bed smelled really much pee.  But I liked that we were left alone at all times, we nearly even saw anyone else even tho the family lives in the same building , But over all it’s good, I could return :)

Perfect location , beautiful view even if there is a big trash pile on the other side of the house.

This place wasn't terrible, but I wouldn't recommend it to a friend. Or go back, to be honest. I travelled around Morocco for two weeks, and was there overall for 6 weeks, so I have an idea of the average quality for price there, and unfortunately I think this one was a bit below average. I didn't think it was very clean, and the hot water was out for two days. The bathrooms are shared and sometimes lacking in basic supplies (like toilet paper, soap) and also feel a bit icky. Also breakfast isn't included, but they do try pretty hard to get you to stay there and eat- for extra of course and above what you would pay in a restaurant. I let them talk me into breakfast there and immediately regretted it. Also wifi was really spotty. I wasn't super impressed with the owner or staff- no horror stories, but again, compared to how amazing riads and hostels are overall in Morocco, this one was a little lacking. There is a nice view from the roof, though. If you can't find anywhere else to stay in Asilah, don't despair, but if you can I would recommend taking that option!

Not terrible, but...

Upon arrival I was greeted by filthy cloths on the doorstep.. There was a foul smell throughout the hostel. I was shown a dirty dingy room with stained sheets and a bad smell in the room dirt on the walls . I asked to see another room and all were the same. It was the worst place I have seen and I  have stayed in some very basic places in India but this was just horrible. For only a few euros more you can stay in a lovely riad within the medina.
