Vatel Hôtel Golf & Spa Marrakech

A fresh, up and coming Hotel and spa 20 minutes shuttle or taxi to the south of Marrakesh. In late May 2010, only 2 months since opening, the professionalism courtesy and welcoming staff of this sanctuary was a welcome relief to the crazyness of Marrakesh. The service, cleanliness, food was well within its 4 star rating, the staff couldn't be more helpful, the facilities superb, the standard rooms oversize. Being out of town it was peaceful and noticeably cooler. Marrakesh has everything you need for a 7 day explore. from shops and Palaces to the fascinating souks. Don't expect tea facilities in room, take in or buy your wine, as there is no drinks licence. etc The costs are very reasonable. Expect taxis to and from town 150 - 300 dirhams depends on how hard you haggle and the time of night. Use only large taxis, mercedes, to access Hotel as small ones aren't allowed out of Marrakesh.
