Auberge Kasbah Merzouga

this Hotel has the best Location in merzouga the suite face the Grand Dune its the tallest Dune in Morocco. I think the rooms are being remodeled as I think they are moving away from the traditional rooms to a more modern and comfortable rooms. the Service was good overall was a good stay

This hotel is the best choice when you decide to say at the desert but also feel comfortable. The food was great, the pool was the best thing to help you fight the hot weather of morocco and the house-rooms are very beautiful.

Definitely would love to go back.

nothing says calm charming and peaceful more,lovely auberge in the middle of the Sahara the view is breath taken ,the food is great i had an incredible chiken tagine and the service is impeccable. I recommend highly .

We had a very nice stay here during our trip to Merzouga. Very friendly staff and nice room. Breakfast was very good ! We would love to come back here a next time we visit Morocco. October is a good month to take this trip!

Very nice stay

Perfect days in the Desert

Auberge kasbah merzouga

Do not expect first class or premium accommodations in this corner of Morocco.  Our stay there, with a group of bird watchers, was both memorable and pleasant.  The room with two twin beds was very basic and dark.  I used a headlamp in the evenings to supplement the light.  No closets, no hangers, no toiletries, so be prepared for basic accommodations.  No service to the room for a two night stay.  Windows open to courtyard or to walkway to other rooms.  Breakfast buffet was fine with hard boiled eggs and a variety of bread stuffs.  Dinner menu fine, but basic.  No frills!  Swimming pool was fine after a long day in the desert.  Located adjacent to an outlier of the the Sahara desert so easy access to camel rides or hiking in the dunes.  Great place for 
photography of sunrise.  Would I stay there again?  Yes!!

Desert Respite

We stayed their for 2 nights ,rooms were dirty ,the shower was dangerious hot and cold in seconds,wifi only in the very small reception,the pool area was untidy with speakers and othe obsticals like cables ,the pool was dirty and not clean at all,

Also dont bother to do the camel trekk to the desert camp.we did this it was an hour and a half trekk to the camp which was by a main road,arrived at the camp and it was pitch black with no lights which was a little distressing for my daughter,also no fire or any orginisation that we were arriveing,the 3 guys at the camp tried to do their best ,the tent we stayed aws full of dirty blankets and looked like it was never cleaned in years Yuk.... was not a good exsperiance at all........

Terrible place!!! Dirty rooms & terrible accomodation..bad food too.
Woul not recommend..
Look elsewhere.

They also can't properly manage customers in an open buffet .. is full on anarchy that you wouldn't see even in a refugee camp...truly shameful.
