At the end of October 2014 I spend 3 nights in Riad Saturday Night. I was travelling alone. I enjoyed having breakfast on the roofterrace and dinner inside. Amazingly I was the only guest. Too many people are in a hurry and, when arriving in Merzouga, just go for the camel trek.
Ibrahim took good care in cooking. In one word it was great staying here. The Riad is beautifull, with the rooms situated around the swimmingpool. The rooms are beautifull as well.
I spend 2 nights in the desert with a German couple. It is a well organized trip by Camel Trekking and I have got a good experience. Omar: thank you very much!!!

We spent two nights in Riad Saturday Night as part of our adventure in the desert Erg Chebbi. Omar, the owner of the riad and of the agency Cammel Trekking, has been amazing in organizing our days there and in welcoming us. First, he answered all my questions and emails while we were organizing our stay in Merzouga (we took cammel ride, sandboarding and 4x4 tour) and then he welcomed us as family.
The riad is very nice and the rooms are comfortable and clean; the view from the terrace is fantastic...having breakfast while looking at the dunes is the best way to start a day. And the breakfast, prepared by Omar, is delicious and abundant. Dinner was also delicious and abundant (I still can't believe what a rich dinner they served us for a very low price!).
Omar works very hard in making the stay at his riad and in the desert an unforgettable experience. For example, as we also witnessed a sand storm, he re-organised our cammell trekking for the next day at dawn. 
We loved stay in riad saturday night and visit the desert with Omar, we really thank him.

We arrived at the Riad Saturday Night after an all night bus ride from Fes after booking a Camel Trek through our Riad in Fes. Unfortunately our French and Arabic are something close to non-existent and the whole trip was a little confusing! We were dropped at the Riad and then ushered into quite a nice (but very hot!) room about 6 in the morning and then left to our own devices. With the communication breakdown, we were a little confused as to a) when the camels were leaving b) exactly where we were. We eventually established the camels would be leaving at 6pm, giving us about 12 hours in Merzouga - possibly one of the most isolated villages in Morocco! After a nap, we located Omar, the owner who made us Moroccan breakfast on the terrace and took us on a 'tour' of the village - consisting on the Oasis and the snackbar. We spent the rest of the day taking advantage of the very impressive wi-fi and relaxing on the couches in the Riad. The rooms were nice - some interesting interior decorating but the beds were huge and comfy. Only negative was no hot water but was quite refreshing out in the desert anyway. Omar gave us all the instructions on when we would be getting back the next morning and even drove us to the bus stop. 
Quite a nice Riad but a little isolated - needed a car to get to the main village. But Omar was very helpful and made our stay enjoyable!

Got this from trip advisor, most of our group were ahead so they had found a bigger place, Saturday Night arranged a camel trip, had a beautiful home cooked dinner and breakfast in the desert. then a hot shower back at the ranch. only 6 riders, should have spent 2 nights. one at the Riad and 1 in the desert. The larger group didn't like their trip at all. a little hard to find, but we had a car.

Me and my friend had a nice time at Riad Saturday Night. Take into account that we were there in the low season, so we were the only clients there. This riad is a very cheerful place, painted in bright colours. There is plenty of hot water, and everything was spotless. The fitted sheet on the bed had a tendency to come off a bit and the pillows were a hard (they were in fact cushions), but the mattress was comfortable. The breakfast was quite something: plentiful and tasty, prepared by Omar himself! We had it on the rooftop terrace overlooking the dunes and that was a delight. On a more personnal level, Omar is a calm, hard-working person, very helpful and kind. For example, the day we left Merzouga he arranged for a taxi to take us to our next destination free of charge. Not only that, he called ahead at the pharmacy there to have medication ready and paid for, as I was down with a bad cold! He facilitated our stay greatly and we are thankful to Omar for his welcome.
