Visited April 2013. Close to square, great location. Really relaxing. We did not want to stay in a hotel but a traditional Riad. The whole riad is open to the skies in the middle with a water feature and birds. There is a chill out area where you can relax on cushions while sipping mint tea while listening to traditional music. Staff were friendly but the whole of Marrakech is a tourist trap so watch out as locals try to rip you off at any opportunity. Do your research before you leave home and you can avoid the common traps.
