Riad Des Artistes

My 2 sisters and I just spent a long weekend in Marrakesh, staying at Riad des Artistes. It was a great place to stay. The location is very central, close to the souk and easily accessible for taxis to the airport. Despite our best efforts we got lost every time we left the Riad but that is part of the charm of the city. Eric, the owner, and Abdel his manager were incredibly helpful, organising collection from our flight, providing lots of information on places to go and even escorting us to a local restaurant one night to ensure we didn't get lost (again!). We ate dinner in the Riad on the night we arrived as it was quite late and the food was fantastic, incredibly tasty. Breakfast each day was on the roof terrace, watching the swallows dip over the red rooftops of the city. It was a great way to start the day. I would definitely recommend Riad des Artistes to other travellers.
