Riad lamin

was a pleasure to stay in this riad as the owner husni was very helpful from start to finish. He sent his driver to pick me up from the airport otherwise I will never find this place like every other riad. They r not signposted clearly. The manager came with me to train staion and waited half hour whilst I get my onward tickets to agadir. He went out of his way to help me. Also took me to the main square and showed me way round in marrakech which was a bonus. He couldn't be anymore polite. The rooms are pretty simple but very clean after look what we pay. For the price u ant go wrong. The main square is only 10-15 minutes walk but the walk is great as you walk through the souks and the narrow alleys drinking orange juice and haggling with the shop owners. However on your way back in the night stick to the main roads or u will get lost like me In the back street or in the alleyways which are quite spooky as the locals do try to help you but in return will want few dirhams to avoid that use the main road or taxi from main square will cost u 10 dirhams, less then 75 pence. Be prepared to haggle wherever u are. Don't gv anyone eye contact of u domt want to buy anything. Take advice from the owners if u need anything. Am sure he will go out of his way to help u. But please don't think it's 5 star hotel as it ain't. U get the accommodation which is basic nice and simple but the service is a 5 star.. especially for the price u pay. I will recommend this riad. I would have given it 4 star rating but one day when I was in the riad at lunch time the owners wife took her time and made us a tagine which did touch us abit as we did not pay for breakfast or lunch but they gave us both everytime we were inside.though I like spicy food. Morroco dishes are very plain and bland. Not everyone's cup of tea but go to the main square u will see nice restaurant. Overall had a great time.
