9 reviewsRiad El Guilhem was the perfect place to host a group of 15 women looking for sunshine, peace and quiet within easy reach of the madness of the medina. The owners and house staff are wonderful and couldn't be more helpful - they will organise anything for you. The location is great - a 3 minute walk from the edge of the media, easy to find your way to and from once you've memorised a few landmarks. The on site hammam and massage room means you don't even have to leave to be pampered. Fabulous roof terrace for sunbathing and chilling, the rooms were authentically decorated and all had en-suite bathrooms. The showers remained nice and hot despite the demand of a full house. The beds are firm (which I like) but they may take getting used to for those who like a softer place to sleep. Wi-fi works well on the roof and on the first floor. Moroccan breakfast of pancakes, jam, honey, cheese and tea/coffee with fresh bread from the bakery just 20metres away. Couldn't ask for more!
