Excellent stay, Dar Lazuli has a lot of stamps and we got a great welcome from Rachid and Latifa Nus we loved: the patio and terraces, breakfast and the help of Rachid and Latifa to find and organize activities especially a cooking class we recommend without hesitation

Great welcome and a very pleasant stay

We had a very good stay in Dar Lazuli: beautiful authentic decoration, bright interior terraces, kindness of welcome, excellent location in the heart of the Medina and not far from the splendid beach of Essaouira.

Very good location, staff available.

Dar Lazuli at the end of November 2022 we spent 5 nights in Dar Lazuli, Essaouira. Already in March 2000 we had reserved this small, beautiful apartment, but it didn't go away because of Corona. But now it worked fine. The apartments are very centrally located, but it's not loud. We have the top apartment, Ghibli, inhabited. Our apartment is small, but everything important is there: refrigerator, oven, dishes,... In addition, we were able to have 3 terraces with living quarters: one in front of the apartment, the top with wonderful views to the Atlantic. The apartment and kitchen sinks were very clean, the bed was very dreamy, very pleasant.

A cozy, beautiful and fine breakfast

We had a very pleasant stay in Dar Lazuli. We had the smallest appartment with a terrace where we had a good breakfast.
The beds are very good.
We had a diner which was far toooo much and delicious.
The couple who takes care of us, Latifa and Rachid, were very helpful and gives us all information we wanted. 

The only thing i can remark is that this appartment for older people is perhaps a little bit difficult because of the stairs.
We will come back!!

We had a great stay in Dar Lazuli, a traditional house decorated with a lot of taste and according to Moroccan tradition. Our apartment was very comfortable and clean, with a super king bed. It couldn't be better located, in the middle of the medina and next to the port. The hosts Rachid and Latifa are wonderful, extremely kind and professional. Latifa's breakfasts are a real feast. We also got to know the owners Jean-Marc and Madeleine, who were very hospitable and very friendly to us.

Excellent gift in Essaouira

We stayed in this Dar for 12 nights. The location is fantastic, close to everything, but very quiet. It has everything you need to have a comfortable stay. Can't think of anything we didn't like. The only thing you need to be aware of is that the staff don't speak any English, just French and Arabic. They also serve typical Moroccan breakfast, which is sweet and the same every day, however the staff made an effort to introduce non-sweet options for us, which we really appreciated, we also bought our own food we took for breakfast (the market with fresh food is just round the corner and it's very cheap).

Great location, good facilities

I stayed 15 days in Dar Lazuli, a small dar full of charm and decorated with a lot of good taste in respect of the Eastern tradition. It is ideally located in the vicinity of Medina, at the end of a very quiet alley, not far from the old souk and many cafes and restaurants, but also close to the fishing port and the beach. I was immediately seduced by this peaceful haven with many charms, each with its specific charm, where you can have your breakfast, read, chat, rest, always feeling connected to the ocean at the most or least distant chain of shouts.

A place full of charm and good taste where it is pleasant to live

3 beautiful small apartments very comfortable and well decorated. The 3 common terraces allow you to enjoy the good weather, the view of the last one over the sea and the medina deservingly! Rachid and Latifa are charming and caring hosts. Special mention is made of the delicious breakfast prepared by Latifa. A very nice place, well located in the medina and calm.

What a gem. Beautiful understated and so well located. The owner is so nice and v helpful. Homemade cooked breakfast is delicious. The bed was so comfy - we slept very well! Overall great and would recommend / stay again in a flash!
