Sadly we only had one night at this beautiful place.  The setting is stunning and the hotel is so comfortable.  Aziz speaks excellent English and has a great sense of humour.  The other staff are really helpful but allow you to relax and enjoy.  
The bathroom was quite basic but spotlessly clean.
The hammam was a great experience, the food was amazing and tailored to our dietary needs.  There is loads of space and areas in the hotel to relax.  Also close for the Ouzoud falls and the natural bridge.  Both worth a visit.
The sunset was just breathtaking and the night sky completely clear so stargazing was easy.

We were 2 families with children ranging from 11-19. We all loved it. The setting is beautiful; the food delicious and the service & care is exceptional. Aziz & his team treated us like royalty. He took us on hikes: we had a hammam & a sunset donkey ride. A really exceptional experience highly recommended to everyone.


The accommodations are great. Spacious and well equipped. Aziz is very friendly and helpful. And the food is also really good. Aziz even took is to some of the sights in the area at no cost and did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The surrounding is astounding with views of beautiful mountains and endless planes. So, definitely highly recommended.

Kasbah Timdaf is at the foothills of the High Atlas with views all around and one of the most magical sunsets I’ve ever seen. Also since it is a working farm, it was one of the best dinners we had in Morocco.

Cannot recommend enough as a jumping off point for Atlas experiences or a relaxing stay in it’s own right.

Aziz and Andrea are lovely people who have opted for a quieter and fuller life away from the city. And that is the ambience that pervades this farmhouse/pensione. My brother-in-law and I were looking to balance the noise and congestion of the medina in Marrakech with a cooler (High Atlas elevations) site amid nature in the rolling hills about an hour and a half drive east of Marrakech, near Demnate. Aziz took us for a guided tour one day, to the Iminifri waterfalls and gorge, the Cascades d'Ouzoud waterfalls, a riverside picnic, and also a fascinating village where they make the ubiquitous pottery tajines using techniques that have not changed for centuries, if not millennia. He also arranged a guide for us in Demnate, who met us as we got out of the shared taxi from Marrakech and then showed us around the mellah and markets of the town. 

Breakfast was great, with decent French press coffee served in the stone courtyard outside. 

The cost was very reasonable. We paid directly - cutting out the middleman fees - which I think was highly appreciated by our hosts. Aziz really helped us to bridge the gap between being tourists who only see the hard exterior of the country they are visiting, and travelers who make a close encounter with the local mood and mindset and landscape. We feel that we have made friends, and I can see going back to Timdaf in years to come with extended family. And that way, we'll also be able to see Aziz and Andea's sweet two-year-old  daughter Tuda grow up!

We stopped here for a lunch.  We tried to book a day hike and hamman as well but ran out of time.  This is one magical place.  The lunch (which we prebooked) was delicious and served in a flower covered veranda.  My husband and I had Kefta and Egg tagine and my daughter had turkey brochette.  The little messa dishes of aubergine, olives, and other delicious things were fabulous.  It was one of the best meals on our 2.5 week tour of Marrakesh.

Our hostess was delightful and so responsive.  Every little wish was granted and our comfort looked after.  The husband is a local guide and we wish we had time to go on a hike with him because the area is absolutely beautiful.  There were no crowds, just olive groves, wildflowers, and undulating hills.  There is lovely wild flower honey that's locally produced which you can buy from the Kasbah.  

The Kasbah itself is beautiful and beautifully maintained.  The common rooms are cool and nicely decorated.  We looked into one of the bedrooms as well and everything looked spotless and comfortably furnished.  It is without a doubt a home away from home.  We hope to return soon.  We're certainly telling all our friends to visit!

We had such an amazing experience at Kasbah Timdaf. Owners Andrea and Aziz, and their daughter Tuda, were such a wonderful family, and their staff are such kind and welcoming hosts. We stayed for 4 days but we honestly could have stayed twice as long with so much to discover. We were a family of 4, with 2 daughters age 5 and 6, and our kids loved it. The Kasbah is a beautiful place with plenty of places to relax and sit and enjoy the natural surroundings. The grounds are huge, you can walk for miles and miles and not see a soul! There are fields of olive and almond trees, falcons and eagles and other wildlife, a small pool to jump into, a vegetable garden (they use all the vegetables in their kitchen), and chickens and donkeys to say hello to. There is also a really nice hammam that my wife and I used, it was so relaxing. Aziz also arranged several excursions for us, including a hike through the surrounding Berber villages, the travertine bridge, dinosaur footprints, and the Ouzoud waterfalls. All the prices were very reasonable. And the food prepared by their chef, Hayat, was absolutely delicious, the best tajine we've had! I also celebrated my birthday while I was there and they even surprised me with a birthday cake! Aziz and Andrea go above and beyond to make for a special experience for you. Purely by chance found this lovely kasbah just as you leave Demnate on the route to Tannant

Lovely hosts and wonderful accommodation with wood burning stoves. Aziz is a trained mountain guide and wonderful source of local knowledge. 

Totally worth going further up the road a little bit further than the natural bridge to visit the dinosaur footprints at the Geo-site Iwaridène

this kasbah is amazing and will not disappoint you, no matter how high your expectations. we had a beautiful and spacious room, clean, quite and pitch dark at night. diner and breakfast superb. the hamam in the garden offers tons of privacy. the garden itself is tastefully designed and the panoramic view breath taking. andrea and aziz are the perfect hosts.

The carefully disegned Kasbah with a lovely and diverse garden is at a spacially place and around a very fascinating Panorama. Thanks to Philippe and Chloe they make the place wellcome and homely. They cooked the meal and it was wholesome and very, very tasty.
To stay there is good for a rest and to be and the surroundings invite you to discover.
