This is an incredible place to stay. Built by the family in traditional mud brick Kasbah style lovingly over 12 years - and still adding to this incredible building a pool and hammam/spa. Moustapha and his brother Abdullah as hosts were charming, informative and passionate about their village and heritage. Abdullah took us on a long walk explaining the agriculture of the village  and history and geology of the Dades Valley. We had a beautiful dinner made by the family - Abdullah is a professional chef and it was the best meal we had in Morocco. The love and care and detail and workmanship of the building and interiors is amazing. You need to stay there to appreciate it! Moustapha is a professional Moroccan guide with contacts all over Morocco and can organise a personalised trip for you. Cannot recommend this place more highly.

The staff members were very nice. Everything was excellent and the quality of the food was perfect. The rooms were in excellent conditions and the views were incredible. The staff was very attentive to your needs. I would repeat it a thousand times

It was an excellent experience through Maroco 

The building is impressive, a full-equipped Kashbah with a very nice patio, big rooms and one of the best cuisine we tasted in Morocco.
However, the best this Kasbah has is within the family who host and manage it. We made our stay just unforgettable. Thank you for all the kindness we received.

We loved this hotel/Dar and would highly recommend. The food was absolutely sensational. We dined here for dinner and breakfast and it was some of the best food we had in Morocco. The staff were absolutely lovely too and the court yard was very cute. The only downside was that we were asked to pay for our tea and hot water that we consumed during dinner when dinner was included in our price, which we thought was a little odd. Regardless, we would still recommend this Dar. 

Great food and service! 

This Kasbah was absolutely amazing. The view from the terrace was beautiful and the rooms were nice as well. But the best thing were the staff. Both Mostapha and Abdullah were very kind and helpful. Abdullah guided us on a beautiful hike in the Dades Gorges and gave us a lot of local knowledge. We had an amazing dinner in the restaurant in the evening and the breakfast was very tasty as well. Would come back to this Kasbah again for sure.

Amazing Kasbah

Dades is usually the mid-way of one's trip in Morocco - at a point when you probably already have tasted all major kinds of local dishes. This riad makes sure to surprise you with a four-course fusion dinner with Moroccan spirit - but also elements from the Europe and Asia. I even found one appetizer quite resembling the Chinese spring roll. Talking about food, another thing I found Moroccan people are quite generous about is the portion of the breakfasts. I usually find it quite challenging to finish all they offer on the table. This riad gives a perfect size of what I need - and am able to digest. A quite comfortable start of the morning.

The building style is also a great combination of Islamic and desert elements - the dining room even has a fireplace! 

The view, the food, the hospitality of the owner and his family running this riad - I don't know how to rate below 5 stars! :)

Unmatchable stay in the desert oasis

we stayed for 1 night here and the owner and host was just gorgeous. friendly, very accommodating with a great sense of humour. the food was the best we have eaten in Morocco. the host and his 2 sisters cook for you and their passion for food is obvious. the riad was very pleasant with lovely decor. the roof terrace was a nice place to have a pre-dinner drink with a gentle breeze, birds chirping and comfortable furniture. 

Best food and host in Morocco!

We, a group of 5, took a road trip through Morocco and stayed here for one night before heading further into the desert. Mustafa, the owner, is the heart and soul of this wonderful and charming place. To some people, the decor may seem a bit kitschy, but that's just what makes this guesthouse so special and unique. 
Mustafa is an extremely accommodating host and always concerned about the well-being of his guests.  He is also an excellent cook and surprised us with a delicious dinner upon our arrival.
The rooms are very spacious, quiet and the beds are more than comfortable. Take a tour of the whole house, there is much to discover. Equally recommended to go up to the terrace at night to admire the unique starry sky.
The breakfast the next morning was very extensive and lacked nothing.
We will definitely come back to spend a few days and explore the unique area under Mustafa's guidance.

Unique guest house in an extraordinary scenic area

The place was beautiful, made with love. The owner Mustapha was very kind. The meals were delicious, dinner and breakfast.  I highly recommend staying there if you go to the dessert.  The valley is beautiful and at night we saw thousands of stars.  Mustapha knew about everything

Beautiful Rural Morocco

I consider myself quite lucky as I’ve travelled a lot and stayed in many nice places… but this is maybe one of the best places I have ever had the chance to stay in.  Even in Morocco, I’ve visited 5 star hotels in a couple of the cities, and this surpasses them all.  The hotel building alone is incredibly gorgeous, many kinds of local architecture beautifully mixed together. The rooms were comfortable, spacious, and the decor was stellar. 
The food was some of the best I’ve had in Morocco, we had dinner and breakfast there. The owner was personally serving everyone and explaining all the (delicious) dishes. The owner alone is a reason to visit this place. He is kind and friendly, and takes pride in the place he has (as he should). When we arrived (my brother my cousin and I) had a room with three single beds booked, but he gave us an an adjoint room with an extra bed so we could have more space. (And so I could have some space from my male relatives!). Even while we were waiting to leave, he stayed and talked with us for some time. 
Overall an amazing stay. I wish I could have spent longer there!
