La Kasbah du Jardin

I think Kasbah Du Jardin is one of the best places to stay in Ait Benhaddou.
I really loved the atmosphere. The host, Fadoua, and her family are very friendly and helpful. 
Comfortable rooms and very delicious food. What more do you want?
The staff is very nice and they make live music with traditional instruments in the evening. A very nice experience

Lovely place to stay, with great views of the ultimate kasbar Ait Benhaddou

A great oasis during our self drive tour of Morocco.

After visiting Ouarzazate and not finding anything too interesting we decided to head to Ait Ben Haddou. We found Du Jardin on the internet and we booked the room on arrival, initially downstairs. When we saw the terrace overlooking the Kasbah the manager offered us this room, so we switched with no problem.

It’s worth the stay just for the view. Because of the virus the town was ghostly, with only 1 place open to eat. All in all though the Kasbah du Jardin was perfect for a quick pit stop on the way to the desert, I’d certainly recommend it. The manager has a great attitude, welcomes you and is accommodating.

Relax by the swimming pool and enjoy the views from the terrace over the ksar.
Have a nice tajine dinner in the Kasbah. It's the best option for a good meal in the area.

I spent a lovely 6 nights here with my family, and of our 11 nights spent in various places in Morocco, this was definitely the highlight.

Youssef was a wonderful host who was very attentive and provided great knowledge about local culture. He also helped to organise/advise on day trips for us, and his warm hospitality is what made our stay very special. 

The location is beautiful, extremely peaceful with wonderful views and hiking opportunities in this world heritage site. It is also only a 20 minute drive from the nearby city Ouarzazate (or very cheap taxi drive of roughly 20 dh). In addition, the breakfast included a generous variety of lovely food, leaving us spoilt for choice. 

To summarize, we felt extremely at home and welcomed like family, and I would love to return here again.

From the very begining we felt very welcome, the host Josef showed us our big room and we could easily enjoy our tee by the pool. The hotel is situated in the end of the village with great view up to the Kasbah hill with good coverage of wifi connection. The parking is suitable for the campers, and many of camper tourists use the restaurant as we could see, enjoying their diners with food and wine. Our recomendation for families & friends, clean and chilled out.

We stayed only one night.  The staff - Abdullah a young graduate hotelier  from Marrakesh - were jolly and helpful (arranged with the owner to take cash pounds sterling as we had run out of dirhams).  

The pool was very welcome in 40 degrees heat.  

We paid 400 for a triple room and probably could have negotiated a little bit but it felt like good value.  

View towards the citadel is pretty good.  Food was good. 

I was with two teenage kids and this was the standout hotel of our trip for them.

As a place to camp, given the pool, this looks superb value.  Our top rating reflects that - the loungers are a little worn, the aircon didn’t work that well, the shower curtain doesn’t really cover the doorway to the room.  But the warmth of the people outweighs that - it was just right (none of the constant high fives and worn out gags of the traveller hostels).  Good work Abdullah and good luck in your career.

Great base for exploring Aid Benhaddou, friendly staff, nice cooling swimming pool and well priced home cooked food, we had a vegetarian three course meal including pumpkin soup, vegetable tagine and fruit with cinnamon and lemon. Yum!

This place is amazing.  The location is authentic and has a fantastic view.  The staff is friendly and very helpful.  The rooms are basic but good and give you an authentic feeling. 

The kids loved the place! A great place to stay when you visit this region!

Pleasant hotel with lovely decor. Wi-Fi works now and then in the main building but the   restaurant across the small path and had working Wi-fi.  Breakfast a little simple but served in an amazing room decked out like a Berber tent.  Too cold for us to swim in December but pool area was lovely.
