Where do I start? I had a room in the main building. it was tiny and the bathroom minuscule with a sloping ceiling. The shower was hand held and the sliding doors came off their runners. There is zero storage space, a drawer front fell off, there is no English language station on the TV. Power points are hard to find. Others in our group reported power sockets falling off walls, a toilet diagnonally shoe-horned into the corner of the bathroom and in the chalets that spiral staircase was practically lethal. No handrail, and the wall sloped so much you had to bend your back to get down it at the top. The only bathroom is on the ground floor in the chalets.

Safety Last

Generous portions of very tasty, filling food. The service was good and the dishes were reasonably priced (though the wine was very expensive by comparison). We would happily return if we were in the area.

Beautiful view from the nice room. Room was otherwise clean but the floor wasnt entirely cleaned. Otherwise I had given 5/5. Food and breakfast were delicious and the service was perfect. Location was great, near the center of Zabljak, Black Lake and Bobotov Kuk. 

Beautiful place with excellent service

Great place, food and excellent service. We really like food, but the service is excellent. The best service in Zabljak and they can compete in all Montenegro. The brad and “Kajmak” (domestic food) are delicious. There is always available parking and terrace is great.

Great food and amazing service

It was a nice restaurant. They served very tasty meals and a dessert. Staff was so kind and friendly, all credits go to the waiter Simo. The ambient is good due to the proximity of the city- no hotels or buildings around, so we enjoyed the view a lot.

Nice restaurant

We didn't stay at the village but we had a very nice lunch, with local polenta and dessert. Service was very quick and food was tasty and traditional. We enjoyed the cheescake dessert and the local brandy very much.

Very nice meal

I dont know where to start. From positives maybe: staff was super friendly and there is alot free parking space. Also mountains are close and views are nice already from there. National park itself is beautiful and worth of trip. But staying in this place is something else. We stayed in main building and went into the room through the office? One window in room which was smaller than backpack. From that window you will be able to see roof of the building.. No hot water and drains smelled alot. Heater didint work too hard even owner told that he put it on? Also wifi didnt work almost at all. Hotel is located quite far from city so for food only option was hotel. Menu was wide but food is nowhere near tasty. Alot to improve, maybe bungalows were nicer so make sure you get those if decide to going here.

Not worth of price

We stayed for 2 days at Etno Selo Sljeme. A stunning location & amazingly peaceful. The staff were incredibly friendly & helpful. A great place to be based to explore the National Park. The restaurant was good too.

Wonderfully quiet & beautiful place to stay in Durmitor National Park

We staid at this hotel in a room above the restaurant, the room was Wood that was not finished and not painted, The room had a double bed, a chair and a TV. Toilets had a sink a WC that moves(not secured to the floor and a shower that included a water outlet and nothing else Not even a curtain.
The worst part was:  There was no hot water,  The WIFI doesn't work  the breakfast is not what you see in site.
Simply it seems they ran out of money and didn't finish the Hotel.

This is not a Hotel

We stayed in the main building, not in one of the bungalows.
Compared to prices of other hotels we had in Montenegro, 51 euros was one of the expensive ones...
A very basic room: bed and a bathroom, that's it. Quite a big room yes, but no extra chairs, no closet, no light fixtures, just the bulb, no socket in the bathroom, the toilet was not fixed to the ground... And you heard every movement of the person above you, because everything is in wood.
In 2016 there were 8 dogs, of which 6 very cute puppies.
The location though is very good, a mountain in front of you, 10 mins from Zabljak and the national park
