Apartment Vujisic

We passed through Zabljak last year and decided there and then that it needed a longer visit. So we knew the rough layout of the town and national park which helped to find a place to rent this year (2017). Ivan Do is a small hamlet about 20 mins walk from the town centre, 5 minutes walk from the black lake and inside the National Park Apartment V is on the edge of the hamlet facing away towards the lake and mountains of Durmitor. It's quiet and peaceful even when the campground in the hamlet was bursting with people. The view is fantastic. We arrived in town by bus with our 2 mountain bikes and Milan was soon there to transport us and the bikes down to the Apartment. There are 2 apartments in the building. We were on the bottom floor with access to the terrace and table where we had breakfasts and evening beers. The apartment had all we needed and was ideally located for our daily mountainbiking or climbing. It was great to come back tired after a day and not have to go that extra 20-30 mins walk into town. We usually walked into town each evening to eat and got a taxi back (3 euros). Milan was the ultimate host and looked after us so welll for the 10 days we stayed, lots of little treats like local wild berries for breakfast etc. He could not speak english but we had no problem communicating ,especially over an evening drink (either a Montenegrin 'whiski' or a beer). He gave us lots of maps and guide books to borrow and was always on hand to help no matter what we needed. Because Ivan do and the apartment are in the national park you do not need to pay the 3 euro entry fee anytime you want to go down the lake for the evening.
