House 44 apartments

We stayed five nights in apartment 3 (top floor to the right). The apartment is really lovely - lots of space and well furnished (bathroom/shower is a little small however). The kitchen is well equipped with utensils. The highlight is the balcony and the views from it. Great for breakfast as we got a bit of shade in one corner. Wonderful for later in the day watching the boats (big and small), the swallows and the lights changing on the mountains opposite as the sun sets. The apartment is a mile from the old town but with no pavements you do need to keep your wits about you as there is a steady stream of traffic along the narrow road. There is a nice bakery about half way to the old town - handy for breakfast provisions and stays open till midnight. Better supermarkets are found at the other end of the old town rather than the nearer one. Hope to return to House 44 and that beautiful view.
