The family that own the apartments are extremely warm, kind, generous and nothing was ever too much for them. It’s only 20 mins drive from the local airport of Tivat.m (20 euros by taxi). The hosts work so hard to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. The cleanliness of every area including the pool was impeccable. The location was lovely overlooking mountains and our young kids adored the pool & bbq facilities! The supermarket was 5-10 min walk away too. There’s a beach called jazz beach which you could walk to in 25 mins albeit the roads are a bit busy so not recommended to walk there with kids unless you’re very careful (5 mins by car) We made some great feasts and met some lovely other guests too at the outdoor bbq area where there is also use of oven and sink etc. I particularly liked the large terrace overlooking the mountains, we ate lots of meals there when we didn’t go out for them. Taxis to the local town were just 7 euros however a lot of taxis rip you off so it’s good to have one recommended one to use for your whole trip which is what we did. Our lovely hosts at this apartment organised this for us. It’s great hiring a car and exploring the county too we found some hidden gems near Kotor in the mountains !! Oh and I loved the abundance of fig trees, olive trees, lime trees planted everywhere round the apartment area.
