Apartments Kriva Ulica

Maja and her parents, Milos and Nadja were the perfect hosts. The room was spotlessly clean and was cleaned again during our two week stay; Nadja is a marvellous cook and several times left us parcels of home baked cakes and pies; Maja was so kind, booking taxis for us and even complaining on our behalf to the car rental company; when our fridge broke down, Milos had it sorted within a couple of hours. The room is 50 metres from the bay front along a concrete path with a few steps. There is a "swimming platform", which is a sort of small stone jetty that has room for 4 sun beds. It is used by all of Maja's guests, though there is plenty of room on the main jetty and extra sun beds if it is full up. Their spot on the Bay is so tranquil with the sea like a mirror, especially first thing in the morning; we even saw a dolphin on one occasion! Dobrota was the perfect location: its less than an hour's very pretty, completely flat walk in to Kotor Town along a path fronting on to the Bay. The bus stop is right outside the apartment and goes in to Kotor every hour and is only €1.40. The service is reliable in that it does always turn up, though was 10-15 minutes late every time we took it. There is a supermarket and bakery just 5 minutes walk along the front. There are several restaurants of varying prices. We liked Premier restaurant, also known as the Beach Bar (I think) - down on the front, turn right and walk for about five minutes (walk up the path by the church opposite the restaurant and this takes you out by the supermarket). The food is excellent as is the location and the service. On which note: do NOT rent a car from Oasis car rental in Kotor Town - they rented us a car that was in such poor condition that it was actually dangerous, they didn't offer us a replacement until the last evening of our rental period and we had to fight with them to be refunded for returning the car a day early.
