Hotel Atina

It was the first time in Muntenegro for us. We stayed in this hotel located on the main road in Budva and has nice parking facilities -3 small garages and a big one. The staff was very friendly and welcoming (Mariana and Sasha). Our room was at the 2nd floor so we had no problems with the traffic noise. Room is refurnished and beds are very comfortable. The Daikin AC was the best that I've encounter in a hotel - quiet and very effective. The room had a nice balcony where we spent the evenings drinking. What we did not like at the room was the bathroom due to the very small amount of light. The breakfast was ok. You could order fried eggs, scrambled eggs or omlette. Sometimes products at the breakfast don't have a very good quality (eg juice) and the coffee is pretty bad (black filter coffee; you have to pay extra for espresso/latte etc; not acceptable when you pay 150 euro per night) We spent much time at the swimming pool which is not very crowded (most of the time we were alone in the evening). There is also a whirpool which we enjoyed. The pool and whirpool were opened till 1 am at night which was great. The hotel is on a hill and has no elevators so i would not recommend it for people with working problems but for others it should not be a problem.
