Friends and I spent three nights in this hotel while visiting the famed Edward James gardens in Xilitla.  The room I had was fabulous with a great view of the city and the surrounding mountains.  The beds were comfortable, the staff was helpful.  Each morning there was coffee in the lobby.  Would stay there again.

Hotel is small, It is clean and nice, rooms are confortable, the town is a bit cold 8-10 grade degree during winter and room has no heather, so It is  a cold room, for some It may be too cold, they do not accept Credit cards or Debit cards, only cash, it could be a problem for some because in the town there is only one ATM which is not close.

Some room has a great view of the mountain, some other to the street, this si to load during the first hours in the morning, so mountain side are the best to have a better rest.

I didn't like the fact that you cant left the room is someone does not check it before you leave, is understandable but I had not time to leave so check out could take a while.

We went to this hotel to visit the gardens of Edward James, Las Posas. 

When we got there, around 18h00, it took the clerk a long time to find our reservation and I had to help him. The reservation was written in pencil (not ink) and was therefore difficult to find. We had reserved 2 rooms and we had to choose which
couple would get the room with electricity and water since half of the hotel didn’t have electricity or water.

The hotel has 7 floors (garage included) and our room was 4 floors down from the reception.

The rooms are very nice and clean but ours faced the street in the back of the hotel and our view was obscured by the telephone pole. We could see the room when we got there but can’t really describe the bathroom since there was no light.

The amenities are all there but there is no telephone in the room so if we needed anything, we had to climb 4 floors to the reception.

The zocalo, thank god, is not too far away.

The pool was one floor up and was nice but, since here was no electricity, not very clean.

Problems always happen in a hotel and we were partly reimbursed for the room when we left in the morning.

I would go there again but with the specification that I have a room either 1 floor up or 1 floor down.

Also, if you drive there, there is a parking but 5 floors down from the reception and you need a guide to drive there. 

This was not a good stay but not totally the hotel’s fault. However, there should be a power generator for such eventualities which, I was told, are frequent.

nice view, wifi didn't really work except by the door in our room, and is a 10 minute drive from las pozas and the busier part of the town. it's very cute and i would stay here again when visiting xilitla.

We arrived there a little late so we had to get a suite just for my wife and me. The suite was located in the 4th floor downstairs (No elevator). Evenwhen the room has no AC, it was great because the door and window was in front of the pool. There is cheap beer in the loby.
