I loved the Posada del Parque. Comfortable,  perfectly located in the center of town and with a wonderful staff.g

This was a perfect hotel with a very nice staff located on a pedestrian street in the centro histórico of Xalapa.  There was a small refrigerator and microwave in the room.  Within two or three blocks of the hotel there are many good cafés and bars.  I would highly recommend this hotel.

I loved this place. Whoever designed and executed that design knew what they were doing. From the colors to the lighting and the arched wooden doors, harkening back to old Spanish history. Staff was very nice and helped with recommendations. The only thing I would like to have is a light over the dining table. I would have liked to spend more time here.

It was a great experience. Walking distance to great restaurants, shops, marekets, parks, museums, and easy access to public transportation and taxis.

Lovely small hotel, very new, clean rooms, helpful front desk staff -- can't beat location and price.  Down a small closed off street, across street from large city center park -- I will stay there again in future!!  Great prices.  Has a small kitchen setup for long term stay; an incredible discovery.

The front desk is extremely helpful and cordial. The place is a mere 50 yards from the central park. <It is easy to walk almost anywhere in the central district to interesting places and bus service to, say the anthropology museum, passes right by. <Forget about viewing the university. <It is an uninteresting dump.

A pleasant small boutique hotel very centrally located. Immaculately clean with spacious rooms that are actually suites with a small refrigerator, microwave, dishes, coffee maker etc. The hotel is located on a small pedestrian street so there is no real street noise. Very quiet. Great location with numerous inexpensive places to eat nearby and lots of coffee shops. Parque Juarez is just a few steps away. The hotel staff is pleasant, cheerful and accommodating. Good WiFi.  A real bargain!

The hotel seems newish and it's possible that your cab driver might not know it (mine didn't - but I knew where it was.) Just have him take you to the "Biblioteca Carlos Fuentes" or the "Jarocha Style" coffee shop next to Parque Juarez. Exit the cab and walk down the pedestrian street (blocked off to traffic) and the hotel will be on your left about halfway down the short block.
