If you are looking for a fancy hotel with all the bells and whistles this might not be the best option. We stayed here for 6 days and the staff was more than friendly.  You can't beat a cheap hotel with a room with a view in a great location.

Cheap hotel with a view

Two positive things, considering the prices of the other hotels the price is 50 dollars per person, the others from 150 on up just to sleep, and the position, the rooms 1 and 2 are pretty much on the counter. Managers (of the splash money, crib for baby, 5 dollars extra per day, borrowed from the son of one in the hotel next to the dirty one) Parking is paid, so you should leave it along the road, towels in the room..no comment, they don't hang your washed clothes out, if you like them attached to the chairs, you can also use the old boxes or the dirty ones, you can't use the bolts, glass and mosquitoes all dirty, cockroaches and American room, you can always treat the water outside the door, the pool splashes on the dirty one: thanks to me, there's probably a nice doc from the sea and the wind in the middle of the city.

The hotel is very simple, spacious... maybe a little too much. But the fact that it's comfortable, the sea at a pace and the pleasant staff make it a nice place to stay. If you add that nearby there is the Taqueria Eufemia with tacos and fresh fruit juices and beers, perfection is in the air!!!!

There's paradise and paradise

Hotel reserved life Expedia...Upon our arrival we discovered a muddy hotel entrance......once we passed these marshes we discovered a very low-end hotel......no light in the toilets that were of a dirt rarely seen elsewhere! Rooms near the road.....parking paying 100 pesos a day......very young hippie type client who spends his day on the beach drinking liters of beer with music I was happy......Finally the hotel owner informed us that our room had not been paid by Expedia and asked us to repay 140 euros in cash for our two nights which I refused since my CB had been well charged.......I was very fond of the client when I was on vacation he never remembered the situation....but it was a very dirty situation....but it seems to have been a very messy situation with your client to get back to the hotel....but it was a very messy situation to be back to the hotel....but it was a very messy situation to be back to the hotel....but it was a very messy situation to be back to the hotel....but it was a very messy situation to be back to the hotel....

Dirty hotel, unpleasant owners, noisy hotel and unsuitable for escape

It's not very easy to talk about this hotel because it has positive and other extremely negative sides. Starting from the positive ones: our room, number 7, was very spacious with a large balcony that looked directly over the beach giving an inexplicable view and sensations to those like me who are used to the hustle and bustle of big cities, comfortable and functional room décor, anti-zanzancer beds that are new and clean. On the beach you can enjoy beds and the tavern Eufemia that offers incredibly good tacos, I miss a casino!

Well, well, bad, bad

Good to start with be careful of the type of room booker because it's mostly a picture of the suites displayed while the rest is very very ordinary like room...No hook for your towels or laundry, no storage furniture, no toilet seat for the ladies so you don't mess up! At least there was hot water! There are not really any hotel managers but different Mexican hotels here and there! The only positive thing is access to the direct beach which is gorgeous and also gives access to a super small retro restaurant with employees and super atmosphere without forgetting seen on the water!!!!!!!!

Think about it!

The location is great with beautiful sea. The best alternative is to sleep on the beach. Very hot rooms, with the smell of mold and closure, animals like spiders and clams that keep you company. The internal fan is a great genius...until there is no shortage of light (wind powered hotel) and the oppressive heat makes you leave the room. If the budget is low this is the cheapest hut in Tulum. just be prepared for everything.

No limits to the worst!!

As stated in a previous commentary we read after booking... the hotel is run away if you don't opt for a suite. The cottages are a scam. The one we saw proposed was unhealthy, without mosquito nets, no ventilation, and work remains to be done... We screamed on our arrival, another room was given to us: always spartan, but pleasant and relatively well equipped (without headlamps anyway, or mirrors in the bathroom), but much more expensive!

In the summer of 2014, the previous comments are still relevant

I spend very little on Tulum standards, great location..but beware of the two restaurants nearby, they are high kitchen cost minimum 100/200 dollars per person. Hotel in the process of improvement..if you are pretentious it doesn't make you x. I sleep in cabanas/cottage so the cleaning leaves the time it finds, the mosquito nets are new..OR! We found ourselves fine, the only thing you pay attention to..we booked online with credit card ((only booked) and on our arrival they had already climbed the money without sending email or receipt, I had to ask for the email receipt several times..we have experienced..many good reviews on various websites had problems with payment, said this if you wanted to spend a few days without too much old man! Ah, the pretended boardroom in the beach..

Short stay

Super location and good price ratio. Do not expect a luxurious yet very pleasant hotel with a private beach that is becoming rare at this price on Tulum. Bed with mosquito net, shower and toilet hidden by a curtain so avoid if you need more privacy.
