Hotel Cananas Aventura is a small river side resort only a walk away from the incredible Puente de Dios.  A variety of accommodations are available to fit any persons budget.  Do yourself a favor and stay a couple of days.

This resort is a bit of a drive outside of Tamasopo, but it is located right on the river.  I must start by saying that the resort is undergoing a major renovation. Today, the restaurant and many of the common areas are closed.  Having said that, the rooms were large and comfortable and you can see that the resort is going to be great when the renovation is complete.  While we already had a guide for the many activities in the area, the resort can book all of them for you, making your stay stress free.  I look forward to seeing the property when the renovation is complete.

Beautiful spot right on the river.

Location was the only plus. This place was the grimiest stay I’ve ever paid for. Filthy shower, stained bed sheets, and bugs in the room. I can’t fathom what the restaurant kitchen is like. If it weren’t for the river at walking distance, there would be nothing but filth here. 

Thanks to Echo Tours Humberto who took us for day trips and made the day and adventure. He’s got a sharp sense of humor, knows the history of the place well, and in the end, helped me personally find a cab to get the heck out of that hotel. Would love to stay there again, but I would never!

Stay Away!

Well me and my family when to go visit and we paid a good amount for the room, so we wanted to go visit the "bridge of God" (puente de Dios) and this man had stopped us to pay to cross the bridge! And that was supposed to also be in included in my payment so, we had to pay for crossing the bridge and the life jackets an the money they were asking was more than enough! I was very annoyed and will not be coming back to the place 

Abuse in money!! 

Terrible experience, the worst we had in Mexico. I wouldn't recommend Cabana Aventuras for anybody!!!
The man who received us was so rude and the place is not special at all. We just wanted to go to Puente de Dios and the way is very bad mantened.
