Hotel Mansion Real

We love this place. Stayed here this week for our second time. We are from Colorado and live in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, Nayarit, during the winter. We try to schedule a "getaway" retreat at least once each year during our stay between December and May. We stayed here two years ago for one night and enjoyed it very much. This time we stayed just one night again, Tuesday night. Rented two rooms one for us and one for our daughter accompanying. We were once again very impressed and delighted. The Mansion and the rooms are all beautifully preserved historic Spanish Colonial architecture. The rooms are very well appointed with beautiful tile work, woodwork, monogramed blankets and sheets. Pillows abound! Coffee and cookies are served in the lobby in the morning. Many rooms have wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. There is a wonderful private courtyard with tons of flowers and plants overlooking the valley and the mountains. There are several tables and chairs where you can relax and chat anytime. We found it an excellent spot to enjoy a margarita (BYOB) before going out to dinner. The owners are very attentive and live on the premises. They are always only a button push away. For anything you need or want just push the call button at the front desk. They will be there in minutes. The hotel is very secure. No worries about people just passing through. Everyone is admitted personally by the owners. You enter by ringing the doorbell and the front door is always locked behind you when you leave. The Mansion Real is quiet and beautifully serene. The location is very close to the square with all the various shops and restaurants nearby. You will not be disappointed.
