Casa de las Conservas Bed and Breakfast

I don't know why others say the staff was NOT helpful! I found them to be THE kind & had as much to do with my stay as the gorgeous city itself! Oscar welcomed me the Saturday I came in & was beyond helpful & even though I spoke no Spanish & he spoke no English,we communicated through Google & had fun with it! Sylvia was the best at making sure your room was clean once she knew you were gone & went beyond her call of duty! Everyday I would have the breakfast they made for me,which was Guava,papaya,apples with yogurt & granola.I stayed in the room upstairs,room to right & loved the Hand Carved Mexican wood headboard & the Guatemalan runner & all the gorgeous Talavera tile bathroom.There was no water pressure in the shower & they need to fix this,but with all the other over the top wonderful things about the staff,location,I dismissed it.I loved the location since it was super close to the central area & Jardin. With complaints about noise from other feedback given,what do expect when your in the heart of the city?? It let me know life exists in the city! The staff & location were SO perfect that the next time I go,I am definitely going to be staying there! They made me feel like family & we all expressed to one another "We will miss each other!"It was a short 9 days & I wish it could have been longer!I miss you guys! Much Love,Peggy
