Beautiful court yard!!!  Yummy breakfast.  Fantastic room.

I have stayed before and will do so again. A lovely place with lots of interesting history. Very yummy hot breakfast included.

The most amazing hotel in San Blas. Definitely the place to stay. Beautiful rooms, great service and amazing town. The rooms had a living room, refrigerator, microwave, a/c, 1.5 bathrooms, 2 televisions, and so much history and culture. We are definitely coming back. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful, even elegant, inside and out. Gorgeous colors, a spectacular interior courtyard filled with treasures to see, beautiful pool and gardens. Comfortable rooms, not luxurious, but with everything I needed. Well situated near square and dining.I loved everything about this hotel, and will stay again whenever I am in San Blas.

Beautiful property in a historical town. San Blas is a walkable town with so many things to see and eat.

Beautiful hotel! Well maintained, immaculately clean, with a great charm. We had a suite with bedroom, and living room. Each suite is named after a family member of the family who owned the building. Beautiful garden Amado pool.

The Flamingo is an incredible place! It is quiet, clean, relaxing and central to everything you could need in San Blas! The hotel itself is very old, yet immaculately well maintained. The grounds are clean and beautiful, the courtyard is filled with real colonial antiques and lush plants. Everything about the Flamingo was first rate! 5 Stars

This is a really beautiful hotel just steps away from the town centre and close to a couple of good restaurants.  It's an old building with a central courtyard garden, as well as outdoor pool and surrounding garden area.  We stayed here last year and were delighted to get a reservation again this year.  We'll stay again if we get back to San Blas

Wonderful hotel in San Blas

This is one of the best hotels that we have ever stayed at in Mexico, and we've been coming to Mexico every year for 20 years. The architecture, the history, our hotel room & patio, the inner courtyard, the swimming pool, the outside landscaping, and the 200+ year old church.... Everything was amazing! 

We will be back again next year for sure!

The only place we were ever stay in San Blas

A bit rustic, but charming, clean and maintained beautifully. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Only small criticism, and just one in general to the more traditional hotels of Mexico, is that the mattresses are a little too firm for a spoiled Gringo like myself. Not rock hard just extra firm.

I had a rocky start at reception when they couldn’t find my booking and had no English to communicate, and were insisting on a cash payment at a higher tariff.  A reluctant call finally sorted that issue, but an interesting 20 minutes after a tiring long trip. But after being personally shown to my room through the beautifully appointed ‘Mexican’ central courtyard and , later, the garden and pool areas, the early problem evaporated. HHF is NOT a 5 star resort, but clean , comfortable and presenting a colorful , happy tranquility.

Rocky start

We stayed at this amazing hotel for 4 nites and will definitely be back.  It was so beautifully maintained and the staff so kind and helpful.  The stay includes a delicious breakfast.  The bed was very comfortable and room beautifully decorated.  There are many authentic historical pieces on display in the open air atrium with fountain.  It is a converted hacienda originally built in 1789 and renovated in the 1940s.  San Blas has an interesting history and there are many historical sites to see in this lovely town.  The hotel is walking distance to plaza and great restaurants.

Will definitely be back

The problem with this Stay is that there is major construction going on in the town and immediately surrounding the Hotel. Parking is very difficult and access to the hotel also compromised.
