Vista Caribe Diving Resort Playa del Carmen

Stayed here for 2 weeks (Junior Suite - 1202), absolutely loved it, the staff is amazing. This is an older place, but very clean and the 2 weeks we stayed there were many upgrades to the hotel, such as the internet, painting etc. Our room had a microwave, mini fridge and small kitchen sink (and there is counter space). There is no utensils, plates, etc., but Walmart is about 15 minutes away. Breakfast is included and starts at 7:30am-11:30 am (the staff in the restaurant is also amazing). From our room we were able to sit on our deck in the evening and watch 5th Avenue, there was a Taxi stand right under our patio. This room can be noisy, so if you're a light sleeper it's probably best to get a quieter room, we loved it and booked same room for next year. The hotel operates 24 hours and the taxi drivers are there 24 hours as well, so it feels very secure. The beach is a few steps from hotel and the hotel pool is great and a nice place to hang out. Hats off to Teresa (sp) and her amazing staff, we've been going for 5 years to different places and this is our new go to place for sure.
