Located right in front of the central park, a building with 5 floors.I stayed in the shared bedroom: fairly clean and the bathroom well with hot water, the ventilator not serviced (although there is weather) nor the control for the TV but outside that very nice and pleasant, the bad also is what you have to go up the 5 floors because there is no elevator but a little exercise does not hurt anyone.Upstairs there is a terrace where you can see everything Palenque and there are hammocks.

Good location

We literally got one hour sleep here. This hotel is bang in the middle of the action which means noisy beyond belief. Live band directly under room played from 10ish to 2ish. Cannons outside window went off periodically from 4 and church bells also just outside hotel started at 5.30. Partying noise all night long. View from balcony was great and low cost but we would not recommend if you want to sleep at all.

Party Animals only

Although the hotel is relatively clean and the towels are in good condition, the condition of the rooms is not what we expected for the cost. The air conditioning makes a terrible noise, impossible to sleep. The second night we heard a noise at 2am and ran to the door as we noticed that they were trying to enter, as a precaution we had placed the security key but managed to see the thief's hand inside our room; we pushed the door and marked the reception desk who informed us that they were now suffering... which they never did. The next day they commented that there had been a drunk man who came out of the same bar of the hotel and tried to open our room and the neighborhood successfully and allegedly arrived at the police without him.

The point of a robbery is extremely dear.

We had a very nice stay. Great pool area. The room was of a good size and well decorated. Very pleasant to sit in the restaurant  and see and hear the Howler monkeys. The food was steady without being sensational. A good resting place after exploring the temples

Restful stay

The excellent price is 500 pesos with air conditioning and for 3 people!! The receptionist is very kind!! And for the fee is not bad, they have a bar.. to see if we can get down for a drink!! It has a very nice view of the center and the park of Palenque, as well as the municipal palace!

Hermosa vista to the main park of palenque!!

It's a classic hotel in Palenque, one of the first established! and now is running under a new administration that is really focused on the service and is providing the hotel with new gear and has re-opened the restaurant as a peruvian fusion bar, café and live music hall. Keep up the good work! you're doing it great!.

New administration, doing it very good!

We were charged 1150 pesos for a room that wasn't worth 500 (they abused the impossibility of finding another accommodation that day) A fourth floor without an elevator (and enduring the laughter of the service asking for it) They offer wifi and can never connect or, when it does, it goes very slow. Telaranas of more than two centimeters in the room. The air conditioning is antediluvian, making so much noise that it's almost impossible to sleep with it on.

It is in the very center of the city and has a magnificent view of the square apart. It has a very good bar and restaurant and with a very good atmosphere the hotel is very economical and very comfortable.

The best location... impossible.

we read that this was a classy hotel in lonely planet, i do not call pink painted bricks classy. the staff were unhappy with us complaining that our shower drain smelt bad, they gave us a plastic bag to cover it up and sprayed a lot of air freshener around, it seemed to work. it was pricy for our corner room, no breakfast included, but an expensive cafe on the ground floor, wifi does not work in rooms, there was no free filtered water like in other, cheaper hotels. i cannot recommend as a good deal. but the beds were comfy and the tv worked.

plaza views

It was a dream! The room was more of an apartment than we had room. (Junior Deluxe) Two large beds and a huge terrace with two comfortable rocking chairs where you can hear the sounds of the rainforest wonderfully. If you're lucky you can even see the mantle-blowing rattles that can be found in this area of Mexico. You'll definitely hear them in the morning! It's definitely worth two nights here so that you have enough time to enjoy the hotel and to visit all the surrounding excursions (ruins, waterfalls, bonampak) I would book here without food, since the included food was almost ok but the early morning was almost a bit weird because it felt annoying.
