One of the great hotels I’ve ever stayed at I highly recommended

If you need a place to stay in Monterrey, avoid the chains and stay in the best Monterrey has to offer. I have stayed there the last 4 trips to Monterrey and have received the best service of any hotel I have ever stayed at for a bargain price. Conveniently located across from the main bus station, the staff is extremely profesional and friendly. Not speaking spanish, they always bear with my butchering of their language and hand signals with a smile. The resteraunt is clean, food is great and the service is the best Monterrey has to offer. Air conditioning fit for a meat locker, hot water and water pressure not found even at the expensive American brands make for a most enjoyable stay. But the main reason for a stay here are the employees. Customer service on par, or better than), the most expensive hotels at a reasonable price.

Hotel over all is not bad but the area is not very safe

Everything was perfect. The only suggestion i can give is to the check in persons should  learn how to SMILE, 😊😊

The hotel and the room were clean and all in order working, nice people and service in the the reception area, can walk to the long distance bus terminal, however the A/C was too noisy luckily weather was not hot so I was able to turn it off and sleep

No microwave, no mini refrigerator.  Musty smell.

I loved the updates they made. The dirty carpet is gone, loved the tiles.  Beds are better. The staff are always polite.  From the parking attendants to the cleaning crew. The front desk receptionist 😒 well lets say i was not happy with her, she kept changing the prices. I was charged and then once in the room, she calls me to tell me i nees to pay more.  Well, i guess as long as they keep making better improvements.

Spent one night at Fastos while transiting through Monterrey.  It's very conveniently located right across the street from the main bus terminal/

The rooms are neat, clean, and comfortable.  Good beds, nice pillows, and clean sheets.  The A/C worked, as did the WiFi.  Plenty of hot water, good water pressure, and fresh towels.  Flat screen TV with cable and plenty of channels to choose from.

Rates are very reasonable.  We got a double for around $40.  There is a continental breakfast included, but we had an early bus and diod not take advantage.  Also, downstairs there's a 24 hour coffee shop restaurant, so you don't need to go out walking in a marginal neighborhood to get something to eat.

In all, I was pleased, and would stay here again.

Good Lodging Option for Bus Travellers in Monterrey

This is supposed to be a 4 star hotel, and I believe it due to the amenities, service and quality this place offers to their clients. The only thing I did not like much was the neighborhood where it's located. In a way it's convenient if you travel via bus because it's near the bus station. However, the night life is around the corner where I was able to see a few drunks and prostitutes hanging out. I still had fun, and I still went out with some friends and came back safe. I slept like a baby, the beds were comfortable and the rooms are cozy and welcoming.

Good hotel to stay at when visiting Monterrey

The rates are economic, it is right in front of the bus station, it is a safe place to stay and the restaurant is delicious to have breakfast.
They do not have online reservations, I called but I was informed they couln't book me a room because they only hold rooms until 10pm and I would arrive at midnight, I was assured there were plenty of rooms available but when I got there there were no rooms left, I had a moment of panic but they found a last minute room for me. 
Just something to consider if you are planning on arriving late at night.
