I stayed at Villas del Mar for only one night but I enjoyed it immensely. My apartment was on the first floor. This cute B&B has a wonderful quiet atmosphere and the owners are calm and serene with wonderful personalities. They are intelligent, warm, hospitable and professional and the husband is fluent in English. The Villas is artistically designed in the Italian style, very clean and comfortable. Everything is new. The high ceiling affords plenty of fresh air in the spacious bedroom and promotes a healthy and refreshing night’s sleep. The kitchenette is equipped for simple cooking. The swimming pool, bar and lounge area were very comforting and relaxing. There is plenty of safe free parking available on the same street. You can walk or ride a bike to 5th Avenue, to public transportation on 30th Street, to the fitness club or to the beach. WiFi is fast and reliable. Villas Del Mar is a quiet harbor in Playa Del Carmen.
