Beautiful colonial house, rather pleasant common spaces. with the help of quite good people I had several inconveniences and was immediately assisted. ideal hotel for a few nights in the beautiful Mérida.

Unas nights in the past!

I did not like anything. the tv and ac was broken. After paying for taxi to go to eat and return we were told you could get a refund and go as the AC was still not fix even after 4 hours. Why did they not do so from tgw first instance. Very disappointing service

The staff is kind and considerate, but the owner is despotic, rude and untouchable, it becomes aggressive to the host, there are many mosquitoes for the humidity and the garden, we put on a raid and wait to get back to touch us and tell us that she prefers the mosquitoes to breathe than the cheapest biscuits in the normal morning, she appreciates the detail. Poor experience

It's a small, economical hotel, but it's clean and nice, the room we were assigned was the smallest one on the street, and one of the oldest, staffed by a very kind family with very good care and disposition. The room has air conditioning and ventilation, has a fridge bar, very useful for storing food or drinks, the TV is very small and old, it needs cable channels, the mattress is already a little old and requires changing and keeping them clean. It's a little far away from downtown, but if you like walking it won't cost you work, the streets in the area are very quiet and still very nightly. A taxi will charge you about $30 in the downtown area. If you need a place to sleep and spend so much time outdoors, it's a good place to be.

A pleasant stay for a good price.

We only stayed for 2 days in Merida to see the city, but when we come again, we'll stay in this hotel again for sure. Everyone in the hotel is very friendly and open and you get help from directions to food explanation/recommendation over laundry service and free unexpected coffee in the morning.
The day we left, we took a bus from the autobus station very early and didn't want to walk there sleepy as we were, so the owner made a taxi reservation the day before (the taxi showed up 5mins before expected - perfect service).
As someone earlier mentioned, the rooms are very clean (at least ours was) and the area seemed totally safe. Police&firestation are just around the corner. To us the whole city seemed very safe to walk around, also at night.

Awesome place in Merida

We booked three nights, but the truth is the first night when we arrived; first there is no parking space. There are three seats on the bench, occupied by the owners and they suggest you leave it on the street. Second: the owner is very rude, because when we arrived it was dark, I stumbled upon a lady and instead of asking if she had hurt me, she told me grossly to be careful if I didn't have to pay for her precious furniture. To this I call to feel like I've never been home. It was late at 11:00 pm, we were tired of the trip and we had already installed, so in the morning we set out to look for another hotel.

Bad attention is paid.

Relatively close to the historic city center, one can reach it on foot in 15 or 20 minutes. Part of the hotel, the front, is an old house, and the back part has been modernized and more modern rooms have been built, a garden and a pool. When I arrive I ask one if the next day I'm going to have breakfast. A bag of oatmeal cookies and an American coffee bar give one the good morning at one of the garden tables, if you decide to do so. If we get hungry we can ask the lady to cook us some eggs with Mexican. Serve them with tortillas and chili habanero sauce. The bed, the lamps, and if you feel old. There is no place to take my girlfriend, it's no noise, but it helps.

A good attitude that elevates to a simple place.

The hotel has a solid foundation; the service is very nice, the breakfast consists of coffee and packed cookies. Within 15 to 20 minutes you can walk into the city, and the flanier mile from Mérida is only 5 minutes away.

We were close to the cathedrals and museums downtown and also to the avenue with lots of coffee/ bakery places, great restaurants.
