want to highly recommend this place for the services and comfort and attention from all the staff Ana, a wonderful girl with a great spirit... it was an unforgettable vacation, but the most wonderful thing about this place was finding the best massages Kari spa I was approximately two years old with a spinal problem, doctor after doctor, and here in this exact place I found my funny cure because at first I didn't want them to touch my back for fear that they would hurt me... but Kary gave me the trust, she is very professional in the whole range of massages I can't believe she cured me, if you come to this great place don't forget to ask for a massage and more if you are looking for it to heal and look for Kary you will not regret it... I hope to return soon thanks Punta Monterrey and all the staff God bless you.❤️🙏

Absolutely an oasis ! Fantastic accommodations and wonderful set up. Piece of heaven in earth. This is my 4th time and I can’t wait to go back. 100% relax! Yes you disconnect with the world and connect with yourself. Most beautiful sunsets and perfect beach. I absolutely love the cabin and rustic adventure with all the comfort I could imagine.

My wife and I were trying to decide where along /near the Puerto Vallarta coast we wanted to get married and came across this hidden gem and were so excited. We reserved the entire place four ourselves and our guest from Friday through Sunday. We loved the idea of getting away from town, WIFI and all the distractions that come with it. Upon arrival we were stunned with the beauty, thought and care put into the property and units. Each room has a gorgeous view. Some are hill side, some are on the flat near the parking lot, a couple more are near the main path to the beach. 
The rooms are all amazing, well kept and can't help but make you relax upon settling in.
The food, the chef Raul and his crew and the service are all amazing! Predetermined meals aren't for all, but they thought, creativity and care they put into all their meals is truly something special. We had a large group (40ish in total) staying, some who don't eat seafood, some who are vegan and when letting them know ahead of time, they catered very well to those folks. We ate 6 meals while there and all were delicious. Our entire group was well satisfied.
The wedding day was perfect. They worked with our coordinator (Hubba) to help make sure that our guests staying on site were well cared for as well as our guests who came in for the evening and all the shuttles that came with them. We truly appreciate the care and help they provided on our special day as well as a safe space for our friends to dance, eat and drink the night away.
This place is an ideal get away for a couple or small group looking to unwind and get away from phone connectivity. We can't wait to go back for our one year anniversary and walk the beaches, swim and kayak in the ocean, read a couple books and enjoy some great margaritas from Sergio. Highly, highly them for a wedding, special event or the best quiet get away of your life

Wow, what a wonderful, pristine secluded beach and location! And with the Pacific waves to lull you through your day and sleep! Surrounded by the jungle with the most beautiful greenery and trees. The roads were rocky but in a short while “salsa dancing” in the cab, you arrive in paradise.

The water was very very safe as I have travelled to so many parts of the world with unsafe water. Travelling through many other cities in Mexico recently, there was an issue with the water and the need to purchase water at every stop. The food was wonderful, Mexican flavoured with local ingredients and freshly caught fish instead of being a totally North American cuisine and catered to many dietary restrictions of the retreat group. I love the set daily menu. Made me feel like being in Mexico in this isolated, peaceful piece of paradise! And OMG, to be spoiled and start breakfast with hot, fresh out of the oven baked banana, almond and coconut loaves! Thank you for our wonderful baker chef there! There was no commercial push thrown at us at all! 

The eco-friendliness of this resort including purified water everywhere, re-digested black water, collecting rainwater, reforestation, natural landscape blending in construction of their buildings, resort deeply impressed and touched me. The winding zig zag ramp path up to the yoga studio was very accessibility friendly instead of having to climb multiple steep stairs up a steep slope. I will be back and recommend this to my friends and family! One group I just met while still in Mexico, already want to plan a cozy wedding here!!! 

The staff were very accommodating. Jaime, Jessie and their team accommodated everyone from their picky food restrictions to appeasing many requests happily and voluntarily! Ocean view from our window and all over in every corner I turned. This place is SAFE SAFE SAFE! I would come here by myself!!

It is a wonderful place to gather everything to get out of the everyday, my experience with Punta Monterrey Beach was of excellence, the very attentive staff, the unique food and from there follows the best of the massages are from my best experience, I have taken massages Around the world, really all over the world and the best ones taken here in Punta Monterrey Beach who think that in such an isolated place you will reach the best massage therapist in the world, if you are connected to this wonderful place do not miss Karina's massages. We spent a week at Punta Monterrey in February 2019 and found it to be everything we hoped for.  A half-mile beach of pristine to sun, swim, run, explore - it was heavenly. In the towns, a beach like this would be crowded with hundreds of tourists, vendors, etc.  

Coffee, tea, fresh banana bread were available as soon as we awoke and walked down to the kitchen each morning.   We often sat on the grassy terrace and watched the dawn color the sky over morning coffee. The food was delicious, freshly prepared with local foods, and freshly caught seafood was featured each day by the talented kitchen team.  

Sunset over the Pacific is beautiful at Punta Monterrey and a daily occasion to relax and experience the wonder of this place. I have seldom felt so relaxed, nurtured and free.  Check out the photo gallery of this remarkable location.  If you've ever wanted the experience of an exquisite private resort away from the crowds and noise, Punta Monterrey willl not disappoint.

I stayed here earlier this year with a group on a retreat. The location was beautiful, private and peaceful. The food was fantastic, and the staff very accommodating - I have dietary restrictions, and they did a great job for every meal. The staff was very helpful whenever I had questions. The rooms were nicely decorated, and they were cozy! The layout of the cabins and other buildings was perfect for oceans views and cool breezes. The room did not have air conditioning, as expected in a tropical location, and leaving the windows and door open allowed for the breeze to come in and to be lulled to sleep by the ocean waves. Everything was as described - there were no surprises... 

Except when I was going to kayak one afternoon - a wave took me down and the kayak on top of my left leg breaking my tibia and fibula. The manager reacted very quickly, and several people helped me out of the water and into a vehicle to take me to the hospital right away. He then stayed with me until I was admitted, sent someone to check on me the next day and came back again to check on me. (In fact, the resort did more than the group I was traveling with!) The hospital recommended by the manager provided fantastic service (I had to have surgery to repair the leg). I am very grateful to the staff of Punta Monterrey for helping to make an unfortunate accident (who can predict what the ocean will do?) so much better for me. 

I would highly recommend staying here, and I intend to go back as soon as I can!

You have to live it to tell it, it is a place full of emotions, the staff is very friendly. It is a place full of pure energy. Its sunsets are spectacular ... But the most incredible thing about that place is the kari massage, a very professional quality massage and the very low price for the best massage I have ever had in my life, it is a healing massage because it helped with my problem of incredible but true years, I left my stress in Punta Monterrey was the best place to live an unforgettable experience.

The best place to live it!!!!! 

We stayed here with family.  A great resort.  Somewhat isolated and the road in is a little rough.  The accommodations were very good.  Meals included.  A set meal every night so no choice but meals were very good. The beach is spectacular with only  few folks on it.  Sunsets are beautiful.  If you want to visit near by places you will need to book transportation but the resort does this easily.  If you are looking for good value and not crowded place to say this is it.  WiFi is weak and inconsistent  and no cellular but you do you rely need it ?
