Wonderful place to stay with your friends or family. Simple but clean rooms in a quiet setting in the heart of the real family Mexico. Close walking distance to everything you need. Close walking distance to a great restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch called Juanito's that has both Mexican/Mexican food.


Awsome place. very clean. has nice pool(small) and lounge area. 
friendly people. secure building. offstreet parking. about 5 blocks to beach. Best hotel you can get for $19.

I stayed at this clean, well-located hotel again this month. Everything was great....clean, friendly staff, well-located in the center of a small beach suburb of Manzanillo called Santiago, close to local markets and within walking distance of the beach as well as some good places to eat. I had a bungalow which was a large studio with 2 beds  with its own cooking and dining area. It overlooked the beautiful pool and surrounding lawn which was great. However, what was not so great was the fiestas aka local parties that they rent out too. These are usually only on weekends and usually only 1 a weekend. Sometimes they are fairly quiet as they are birthdays for young children or small family celebrations. The last weekend I stayed there  were 2. The one on Friday  was a kids party which although the pool etc was noisy and there was a lot of pinata garbage around they did leave by about 9:30. The next night was different as it was for teens and their parents and there was lots of beer etc to  drink...plus a mariachi band and karoake. The music was great at first...but they didn't cut off the music or leave till well after midnight. With the speakers it was very loud. At 10pm I did ask the person at the reception desk if he could ask them to turn down the volume at bit, but nothing was done.  
This is my only quibble with which is otherwise a great place to stay.

This hotel is great! it's a little off the beach (about 4 -5 blocks) but it's well located in the vibrant community of Santiago. Everything is very clean and the pool area is lovely with a nice grassy area around it. We didn't find the pool too small....maybe if you swim laps every day?? However, it could be crowded at high Mexican holiday times like Christmas and Easter.  Kitchen areas in some rooms are great but are very basically supplied but there is a full size fridge. The bathrooms  are clean, but small and could use a reno in the future.  Wifi service is best at pool area, in large lobby
