For the price of the space you get, this room is great for couples/families on a budget. The hotel overlooks the ocean and during our visit in November, no one was on the beach so it felt like a private resort with perfect water temperatures in the ocean. There are multiple restaurants within a couple miles of these villas to choose from. the rate for 2 nights for a 2 bedroom villa with kitchen was $145 and for the location that is a great price. check it out if you are traveling for more than a few days and are looking for a great view.

This is the best hotel in Manzanillo. If you want prompt courteous service at a VERY affordable price, this is your place. I have been going there for years and every time I go it gets better. They are constantly looking for ways to improve their service and property. I would never stay anywhere else. It is on the beach and there is constant bus service just outside the curb. The rooms have a/c and the pool is great. I love the ocean view from the pool. Im not a fan of sand. Definitely take the trip to Manzanillo and stay at this hotel. You wont regret it!

Most cozy hotel in Manzanillo...

This is a nice small place, they have been upgrading all the rooms. One room was being upgraded when we stayed. The constructions noise was a bit annoying if you were by the pool during our five day stay, but you couldn't hear it much if you were on the beach. There is no food or drink service by the pool or at the beach, so you need to bring your own food and drink. Free breakfast was serviced in a hotel owned restaurant across the street. Over the weekend the beach umbrellas were free, but come Monday they were only for rent (no reason given as to why). Also, the hotel sites (hotels.com, booking.com) stated that the bungalow's were equipped with microwaves, but our unit didn't have one when we checked in. It took them a full day to bring us one. Air conditioning worked well. The staff was generally nice and easy to work with if you spoke Spanish. If you have a car during your stay you can drive to Sam's Club, Mega, or Walmart to shop for food and other things you may need otherwise there are only small local stores within walking distance. I would recommend this place for your stay.

Nice Small Place

They have spent a lot of effort to remodel the villas........getting too pricy for what you get. The system they put you through to check the flat ware, pans, platos and tv control ,etc. is just plain insulting.
We stay in many places that have items of MUCH more value and they never make you feel like you are going through a strip search when you leave.

Nice setting

My husband and I are travelers to say the least.  We as a rule travel first class so I know my expectations may be higher than most.  Having said that, we started with Econo Lodge years ago so I can budget. We had visited Manzanillo several times in the past and have stayed at the same property, this was our first visit to Brisas.  We visited in October which is low season in Mexico so occupancy was super low.  The first 2 days we noticed only a  few families and a few couples, and it got fewer and fewer as the week went on.  We chose a package that offered us a semi private pool with happy hour and small plates each evening which was great when Antonio was working.  When he wasn't we had a teenager who was training a young girl who wasn't around much.  I think my first question is, with so many(hundreds) of vacant rooms why were we given one with a view of the roof of the building in front of it?  Kind of a no brainer when there are hundreds of ocean view rooms available.  Bad business.  They supply absolutely no information regarding the property, written or verbal.  Restaurants, bars, tennis courts.  NADA. No info in the room as well.  I had to request coffee from the front desk everyday because they won't allow housekeeping to supply it when they clean the room.  I think there should be some hospitality training. I remember hotels that make us feel like its all about you even in a lobby with 200 people, Don't you?
