Tierra del Mar Hotel - Adults Only

I'll start with the location, it was perfect. It was just a block and a half from the main street on the island, which made getting to know the island pretty convenient. It doesn't have a beachfront view, but the pool is a perfect place to relax. The beach is a block down the way and anyone can bring a towel and find a place to lay their towel and relax on the beach. We walked the beach every morning and everyone was laying on the beach wherever they wanted except for the private areas. We rented two rooms because we wanted one of the bigger rooms for as long as we could, which ended up being 3 nights, then 2 nights in a smaller room. Both were very clean, everything worked in both rooms, the beds were comfortable, the temperature was cozy, it was quiet at night, the smell of both rooms were inviting, the showers were big, & the closet space was enough in both rooms. Breakfast was included at the hotel. We had to walk down to a restaurant to have breakfast, which was great because it was on the beach. The food was excellent every single meal! We were served eggs, choice of meat, baked Mexican breakfast bread with yogurt, jam, and granola. Each day, a different fresh fruit juice was served with our breakfast. The entire place is in excellent condition. It's so well maintained, which shows that the employees and owners are meticulous. Everything had its own place. The staff were so helpful and friendly. They were very knowledgeable of the Island and gave us honest reviews. The entire townspeople as a whole were just as friendly as could be, which made such a difference in the atmosphere. We were very satisfied with the whole experience and plan to go back again soon.
