Kasa Hotel & Suites

I have spent time now twice in Hotel & Suites K´sa in Irapuato. The first time was in their economy section on the 4th floor of the building. I did not much like the arrangement of the suite. The sink was in the living room and the fan did not work. The second stay I decided to upgrade to their standard rooms on the 3rd floor and what a difference an elevator stop makes! The room was immaculate, tasteful, well arranged with lots of nice touches that really do make one feel, well, if not at home, at least very comfortable. Most of all, the front desk staff make one feel welcome. They remembered me from my first trip which had been a month earlier. They attended to my every need with grace and speed and genuine smiles. The hotel is now offering a reduced rate on their standard rooms so that this second stay was as inexpensive as the first one on the economy floor. And I had not even asked for the reduced rate. The location of the hotel makes it an easy walk from the Centro of Irapuato with its lovely old churches and wide plazas and markets. All in all, a wonderful place to stay. It took me a while to realize that "K´sa" means "casa," the Spanish word for home. I can´t wait to try the junior suites next time.
