Villa Lu Iba

What makes Villas Maria Isabel top notch is the staff! They are so friendly and really want to make sure that all guests are comfortable and enjoying themselves. Our Spanish is not that great but we are trying, and the three women were very patient with us as we tried to learn. We stayed here as a couple in December 2022 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The villas are very clean, all appliances worked well and the A/C worked a little too well, we had to turn the temperature up after we got used to the extremely warm climate. The only thing that wasn't clear to us before we arrived was that the common area above reception that looks like it used to be a bar is closed, so there is no place on site to get food. However there is a snack shop almost next door and there are a few restaurants and a coffee shop within two blocks walk. We ended up buying groceries for breakfast at Chedraui and then eating lunch and supper at restaurants. If you are planning to travel to the area beaches or into La Crucecita, look into renting scooters. We rented scooters for the whole week and it ended up being a blast and felt very safe. When we return to Huatulco we will definitely stay here again.
