Very clean rooms and comfortable beds.  Convenient walkable location.  Friendly staff.  The continental breakfast was plentiful and fresh. Highly recommended.

Really lovely hotel, the staff were nice and helpful, supportive as well to the needs of our grandmother who was travelling with us. It’s close to the historic centre and meant we could get around easily. Will stay again!

The hotel is located near all the tourists attractions.

The staff was so lovely at this hotel. We had travel issues and they were so accommodating. The only problem we had with this location is that we didn’t realize it didn’t have AC. They provided us with fans and it kept us comfortable enough. The breakfast was tasty and the attendant was so lovely. The valet parking was easy to navigate. You just needed to let staff know when you needed the car and they handled the rest. It was an additional cost.  Overall great place to stay.

Not secure somebody open the door when I was sleeping at 3:30 in the morning somebody go inside the room inside the room and I wake up and I got problems go back to sleep

This hotel was the perfect choice to visiting Guanajuato. The hotel is on walking distance to all main tourist attractions. The rooms are cozy and clean. The room didn't have hair blower or iron but we contacted them and they quickly provided the items. The breakfast menu could benefit from adding boiled eggs.

Esteban went above and beyond would definitely come again. GPS is tricky and its easy to get you lost however the location is (very walkable) super convenient to the plaza, mercado, stores and food locations near by at all hours. Recommend you call staff to guide you after you book. Would definitely come back!

Perfectly placed small hotel in the centre of Guanajuato. I stayed for 3 nights. 

I was in a small single room at basement level, which meant there was no external window, which didn’t particularly matter as I was only in there to sleep. 

If that’s an issue for you, you’d need to check that you’re in a ground floor or first floor room. 

Breakfast was decent - what you’d expect from a cold Mexico breakfast. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good value for money.

Nice small hotel

It felt very relaxing and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I especially love the balcony feature. A recommendation would be to fix the roof deck as it has potential to be a hang out area. It would be a lovely feature amenity. What I didn’t like was the bathroom, it had a foul odor like sewer

The last vacation, my father booked a plane ticket to visit Guanajuato. We went with my grandmother, my aunt and my best friend. 
We stayed at the hotel “Mesón Cuevano” and the hotel service is good, the food is nice and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are simple but very clean and the hotel is close to tourist sites. 
The restaurant service of the hotel is good as it has varied food.

Fun holidays.

Stayed here for weekend. Very nice hotel in convenient location in the center of Guanajuato’s historic district. Literally minutes away from main sites, museums, cafes and restaurants. Room was simple but very clean and I had a balcony. Staff was courteous. Would recommend and would stay here again. Includes a nice breakfast with choice of fruits, pastries and coffee.

I would definitely recommend Meson Cuevano.  The hotel is clean.  The rooms are fairly basic but everything works.  Wifi was decent and the bathroom had good hot water and toiletries.  Front desk is friendly and helpful with good service overall.  A continental breakfast comes with the room.  Fruits and breads mostly.  I did not partake during my stay.  It is centrally located within walking distance of all of the sites in the city.

I will say the bed was what I would call "Mexican Hard", basically slightly softer than a rock with little give when you jump on it.  This is not unusual in Mexico.  It may take some getting used to if you have not experienced that.  If you don't like hard beds, probably not a good place for you to stay.  Also, there was some noise from the street and the breakfast room in the morning (my room was next door), though that would likely be typical of all hotels in the center of town.

Guanajuato is a delight.  On my next trip I would definitely consider staying at Meson  Cuevano again!

Very Good for the price

At night a lot of noise (Estudiantina music) from the street.Breakfast service not so friendly.

The hotel was nice for our 2 day stay. Continental breakfast included was a plus. The bath towels were old, bathroom faucet had a leak. The on-site staff was nice and assisted us with booking our tours.
