Excellent property bang in the city center!

It was a very nice quaint hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

Friendly staff and very helpful with having parking solution and storing bags. Selective breakfast. Walking distance to all the shops.

In the dead center . Walking distance for food and churches . Beds are alittle hard but you’re too tired to notched . Clean place . Staff was friendly . There is not parking on site . Parking is a bit always . But still not bad . Balcony view was great .

It’s true to the pictures. The 3 room suite is not actually 3 divided rooms. It was a loft with one double bed in top and two double beds on main floor. Small sitting area and restroom with stand up shower.

Hotel was very spacious for our family. Had all the amenities. Overall, recommend this hotel. Will stay there again.

Staff was extremely friendly. Great location and I liked that it’s a smaller hotel. Cleanliness was not what I expected, we stayed at their sibling property last time and the cleanliness was top notch so that’s why we decided to try this one. There was hair on the bed and the sheets looked stained, the staff quickly resolved this issue but it raised concerns about how clean the whole place really was. Overall we were happy with our stay and will definitely stay again here.

Nice quaint hotel that is in prime location with walking distance to restaurants, shopping and site seeing. The room did not have air conditioning so felt a bit warm in month of July. However, there were both a ceiling fan and floor fan which made sleeping more comfortable. Continental breakfast was included. Staff were all friendly and provided excellent customer service. We would stay again.

It was definitely super clean and nice. Had a great view. My family enjoyed it. The bathroom had plenty of room and my one year-old loved the balcony. The building is right in front of the church which is awesome because of all the activity going on outside. Not recommended on Sundays due to the church bells going off at 6 in the morning. It didn’t bother me but for others and share it would have been upsetting. The only thing that I didn’t like was the parking. It’s located 20 minutes away from the hotel. You have to take a taxi back to the hotel. Usually runs around $60 to $100 pesos. which is not a bad price. Just inconvenient when you have luggage. Other than that overall this place was awesome.

Reached out to them via WhatsApp and they were always prompt and fast in reply. Visited Guanajuato for my boyfriends birthday and Carol and Karmen helped set something up for him in the room. He loved it! It was such an amazing details from the staff. Our housekeeper Magda left our room so neat every day.

The location is amazing. I had read some reviews about the church bells and I was a little nervous about it but honestly, the bells aren’t super loud. They sound very lightly in the background. Casa virreyes is in walking distance of the plaza de union, teatro Juarez, callejón de beso, pipila funicular, food, restaurants. Honestly loved how everything was walking distance and took a couple of tours from the centro. 

The staff, the location and the friendliness is amazing. Will definitely stay again when I visit Guanajuato.

My husband and I enjoyed our stayPros: 5 minute walk to callejón del beso and 7-10 minute walk to all the bars. The view from room 305 was very nice. Restrooms are big with big tub. Very clean and affordableCons: parking is off-site, you have to take a taxi back to the hotel, $70 pesos to the lot and back

Location could not be any better.  It is right in the middle of the historic center of Guanajuoto.  One can walk from here to all the important tourist sites in Guanajuoto.  The hotel is across the street from the main cathedral, lots of restaurants around and the main park is a couple of blocks walk.  On New Years eve, I could see the fireworks from around the hotel.  The staff arranges a car to pick you up from the airport.  I got a room on the ground floor.  It was not heated but a comfortable sleep.  The front desk are helpful.   The rooms were well cleaned and the noise from the neighborhood did not bother me as it was Covid times and places closed early.   It is pretty safe.    Just need to know some Spanish as the guests were mostly local people.   In front of the hotel, you can book tours around Guanajuoto and it was fun to walk around the area.  The hotel provides a continental breakfast in the morning included in the room rate.  WiFi is only in the dining area and you cannot access it from the room.

I appreciated the attentiveness of the staff and the ease in which we were able to book tours that picked us up directly from the hotel. The hotel was clean and their complimentary breakfast was fantastic! They had freshly squeezed juices, fruit and pan dulce. The location could not have been better - right in front of the basilica and the main plaza. A couple of things to note: this hotel does not have an elevator and we were located on the third floor, so that was an issue for my mother who was recently operated. However, the staff was able to relocate us to the second floor. They also do not have parking at this hotel, complimentary parking is located 10-15 min away at another hotel. This wasn't terrible as driving around Guanajuato is quite a challenge so maybe sticking to walking/taxis is best. All in all, this hotel was great and would definitely recommend!

I liked the cleanliness of the place along wt the up to date modernist style yet reservation of it original structure. Staff was super friendly. I didn't like that i searched for a room that sleeps 4 and i got a very compact room wt 2 full size beds that seemed like they had been swapped for twins. And i also didnt like i was only offered one key considering we were 4. Besides that minor preference indifference,  the location was ideal and the price wasn't to high

This hotel boutique is very nice , the building is very welcoming and the rooms are very spacious and clean , only inconvenience you may find is that the rooms doesn’t had any AC , the fans did it for us and we went in August so I am assuming it doesn’t get extremely hot here , but if you can’t sleep without AC look for a different option . Also the hotel is right next to the Basilica so the church bells are really loud , specially when they ring at 7 am 😂, but well is part of the tradition of this town so for most people won’t be a big inconvenience . Overall this place is great and I think it deserve a 5 👍
