Casa Lunatta

We chose Casa Lunatta because we wanted to be close to downtown but not too close that the noise would not let us sleep at night. We did good! we were close enough to walk downtown but far enough to have a good nights' sleep. The hotel seems pretty new, rooms very modern and well appointed. Originally we had asked for Room Agua, but the WiFi was poor all the way there; then we moved to Room LLuvia, but it is next to reception area on ground floor and very, very noisy...We ended up in Room Sueño and it was perfect! great WiFi and very quiet at night.
Breakfast is basic and good.

Casa Lunatta, a small bed and breakfast with a good heart.  Staff is excellent and very helpful.  Only one recommendation, please set the clock in the room to the correct time.  Otherwise great.  Would stay again.

This is a trendy little place that is artfully decorated.  It is small and intimate.  I enjoyed the breakfasts and dealing with the very pleasant staff.  My only complaint would be the bit of a walk to get into town, but never turn down an opportunity for cardio!  I would stay here again in a minute.

Nice small hotel, off downtown and perfect to have a good sleep

Be advised this place is not a hotel it's an Airbnb. The property would have received a better rating if we would have known what to expect. Imagine the surprise when we arrived to find a locked door into the property and lock box with a combination lock and no way into the so called "Hotel Casa Lunatta."  Luckily I had my print out with a phone number from the reservation I made with booking.com. Again, no where does it state that this property is an Airbnb. Luckily I had a mobile phone with an international data plan that I could use in Mexico. I called the phone number on my reservation print out and got an answer with an individual who then sent me a text with instructions on how to unlock the two combination locks, what a pain.  Inside the second lock box are the 3 keys. Three keys are required to get into your room. Then two days later the host sends a text on where to pay for the room. We had to find something similar to a 7 Eleven called  XOXO and then had to pay in cash even though booking.com stated that the "Hotel Casa Lunatta" accepts all major credit cards. So, you better have a phone with data plan that works in Mexico and be prepared to pay in cash for your stay. The property is clean and nicely decorated. Again, it was just nerve wrecking having to deal with these unpleasant surprises.

Not a Hotel it's an Airbnb

The hotel is very nice: clean and beautifully decorated. Recently, though, management's approach has changed: breakfast is no longer offered, and no one staffs the front desk.  I did not know about either of those changes before i arrived, and would not have stayed there had I known.  Kayak.com, Expedia.com, Orbitz.com, and Hotels.com still list those services as being offered at the hotel (Booking.com does not list free breakfast, but still says help is available at the front desk).  These listings need to be changed, so that potential guests are accurately informed.  Otherwise I was happy with the hotel.  I did communicate with a staff member by text and email, and another staff member came to the hotel to collect my payment.  Both staff members were extremely nice and helpful.

Many of us had to shower with cold water 
There is no elevator and also none helps you get the bags to the second floor. 
Breakfast is very poor although is in off you only have cereal or eggs. 

On the other aide The house is very pretty inside.
