We spent two nights at Kin Ha and were very impressed. The rooms were comfortable and clean with excellent bathrooms and showers. The pools were clean and enjoyable. The larger pool had a waterfall from the roof of the pump room, and a concrete water slide which worked remarkably well! The restaurant was also very good with great food and drinks, and friendly staff. Kin Ha had a major fire a couple of years ago and are working hard to recover - there's lots of evidence of old damage, but also lots of evidence of both rebuilding and new construction. They deserve a major 'well done' for creating such a pleasant, welcoming space. A minor complaint is not having working wifi in the rooms though there was in the reception areas. A major delight was the presence of about 20 Scarlet Macaws (guacamayas to the locals) who were colourful and noisy and wonderful to watch! We also thought we heard howler monkeys at least once but never saw any. All in all a great place to stay and one I would return to.
