My husband & I spent a week at this very quiet boutique hotel in January and went back for 2 more nites in March. Jesse and staff were very friendly & helpful. Great ambiance at the Beachfront restaurant ….food was very good. Room size was big with beautiful vista of bay, very clean, comfortable bedding.. Beautiful grounds…..highly recommend a stay here.

I spent 5 nights on a solo trip for R&R in early March 2024, and had a wonderful time! I'm already looking to book again later this year. As a single woman, I felt very safe and comfortable in the hotel, pool, and beach directly in front of the hotel.

Collection of my thoughts:
-Handmade artisan soap, lotion, as well as shampoo and conditioner. Smelled so lovely and I didn't have to pack any of these items from home.
-The bed is so comfortable! I seriously got the best night of sleep in years.
-Room and bathroom are large, comfortable, and very clean.
-Small hotel (I think only 15 rooms), but big on amenities. Food and drinks were fantastic as well as all of the staff. Shout out to Jesse and Pepe for all the great service!
-High quality sheets and towels were appreciated.
-Nespresso machine with water and pods refreshed daily.
-Brand new beach-side deck with loungers and tables.
-Hotel can arrange transportation to/from airport for individuals and groups. I very much appreciated this amenity as they pick you up and drop you off right in front of the airport. Although if you rent a car, take Uber, or taxi, the location is very easy to find and is relatively close to PVR (without traffic).
-Although hotel is right off main highway, you cannot hear the traffic down at the pool and restaurant.
-Restaurant takes credit cards, but does not do room charges. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all fantastic!
-Hotel staff always cleaning and keeping things tidy. 
-There is an adorable resident cat 'Sombra' who keeps the property pest-free.
-Adults onlys - no screaming kids!

Only a couple of critiques:
 -Confusing check-in as there is no reception area. Since I had transportation arranged, the hotel knew my arrival time and my personal check in was smooth. However, if you were coming in on your own, you have to buzz to get in the gate and there isn't a clear check-in area. 
-Although the partial ocean view was more like a full ocean view, my room (#4) was very noisy from the highway as well as mechanical noises. I think that water heaters might have been on the other side of the wall, because they would come on at all hours of the day and night. Some nights I found that earplugs would have been helpful.

All in all, this trip was a dream and I cannot wait to come back. Thank you, Hotel Ysuri!

FANTASTIC DINNER WITH FRIENDS JANICE AND PETE. EVERYTHING WAS OUTSTANDING FROM THE VIEW/VENUE TO THE SERVICE AND NOT TO MENTION THE OUTSTANDING FOOD!!! A MUST GO TO PLACE! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR A SPECIAL OCCASION OR JUST TO HAVE A GREAT MEAL AND EVENING OUT!!

This small boutique hotel has a great combo of esthetic facilities, comfortable rooms & beds  and a seriously good little restaurant - Baklava.   It's on the beach  ( not a swimming beach!)  with a great pool  ( 2 actually) with awesome views.   The staff were attentive and friendly and the  food was very good.    So good we stayed 5 days.

We are staying at Hotel Ysuri for 5 nights - 2 more nights to go. It is a small hotel - 13 rooms in total. Large rooms, comfortable bed, beautiful decor everywhere. 
The food is excellent- breakfast is great- had one dinner and it was also great. The staff are very friendly going out of their way to help you. My husband wanted a green coconut and they got him one off the beach. Beach is not swimmable right out front- bring beach shoes. 
Bring swim shoes. 
Do not hesitate to book this wonderful hotel.

There wasn't anything not to like - If I could rate this a 12, I would. The entire staff were the best I have ever experienced in all my travels. Welcoming, hospitable and eager to provide you with an unbelievable stay. They catered to all you needs. The food was fantastic ! I would highly recommend Hotel Ysuri to anyone who wants a truly enjoyable experience. If Bucerias is the oyster, then Ysuri is the "Pearl " !!! I will be back to stay again.

We just got back from an amazing week at Casa Ysuri with our 2 adult children, their spouses and our 2 granddaughters (toddlers).  The house is large and beautiful and right on the beach.  There are 2 swimming pools  - the one on the lower level is a beautiful infinity pool that overlooks the ocean with loungers and umbrellas.  Each bedroom has a king size bed with en-suite bathroom. The house is kept very clean and comfortable.  We spent almost 100% of our time around the pool or in the shaded outdoor living room overlooking the pool.  As noted, the house is amazing… but the full-time staff make the week a true luxury experience.  When you wake up in the morning, Melany is already cooking a gourmet breakfast which is served in the outdoor dining room by the pool. The day is yours to do whatever suits you… walks on the beach, kayaking, paddle boarding, playing in the pool with the grandchildren, etc.  When Pepe shows up mid-morning, it’s time for margaritas! Pepe is the bartender, waiter and purveyor of fun!  You want a blended strawberry or watermelon margarita… no problem.  How about a daiquiri or pina collada?.. no problem.  
Then it’s lunch time, and Melany fixes another gourmet feast. More activities, swimming… and even a few naps (those margaritas will do that).  Dinner was prepared by Angel, who is a gourmet chef and will fix almost anything you want.  We asked him to do various regional Mexican specialties and he didn’t disappoint.  Kevin is the house manager and helped make the whole experience very easy.  We communicated with Kevin the weeks before our arrival to arrange for airport transportation, meal planning and activities.  He even arranged for our Covid tests at the house the day before our departure. After dinner, when the chef, Pepe and other staff leave for the night, Francisco, the night security guard in on property until the morning.  He even did laundry for us one night!  We always felt safe, comfortable and welcome at Casa Ysuri and would highly recommend it for family gatherings or for multiple couples.  The bedrooms are all very private and there’s lots of room to be alone if that’s what you want.

We have just returned from our third multi-generation family trip to Casa Ysuri. It is truly the place for a fantastic relaxing vacation for families and small groups. If you are looking for a beautiful house with room to spread out so that adults, families, and teens can all have their own spaces, in a perfect beach setting with pools and the ocean right outside your door for long beach walks and beautiful sunsets and your biggest decision will be deciding what you want to eat- you have found it! Casa Ysuri includes an amazing, warm, and kind staff; a concierge who can make sure everything is just what you want from your arrival to your departure, including arranging outings such as jetski or catamaran sails. Casa Ysuri’s chefs create fantastic meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and housekeepers keep the place immaculate. The waiter/bartender/butler is there to make sure every meal feels like your own personal restaurant and pool time is your private pool club including preparing the beverage of your choice or their special creation you did not yet dream about, but will when you get back home. Even after three vacations here we are planning to return again- it is just that beautiful and relaxing.

We had the pleasure of staying at Casa Ysuri for the last five days, and I can tell you that this property is fantastic! It is enormous and has bedrooms on all three levels. All the pictures you see are accurate representations of the property regarding quality and cleanliness. However, what made this place even more special is the amazing staff that catered to our every need!

Estephania and Grace helped us arrange transportation, made reservations to restaurants, and did pretty much whatever we asked them to do. The cleaning staff were polite and prompt and did not blink an eye to the tremendous mess the five young children in our party made EVERY DAY. We were idiots and broke some wine glasses by the pool, TWICE! And the maintenance person Henry was in there with a snorkel and goggles making sure there was no glass in the pool each time. Poor guy!

Special thanks go to Bartender/Butler Manuel and especially to our chef, the fantastic Christian. Every single meal we had was an experience. The quality of the food and drink were outstanding. He took our menu selections and elevated them to the next level. We went to a charming and highly-rated restaurant in Punta de Mita for dinner one night. Although we enjoyed our time there, our entire party commented on how Christian's food was just as good, if not better. We are very discerning foodies and were extremely happy eating 90 percent of our meals at the house.

When it was time to leave, some of our party were close to tears because we developed close friendships with the staff during our short stay. We can't wait to come back!

The only downside is that the beach area right below the property is rocky and not very fun to swim in. But if you walk about 3 minutes further down, then it is fine.

Absolutely loved Casa Ysuri. From the effortless booking, to the friendly welcome with margaritas the whole experience was sublime. The jacuzzi suite was luxurious and private, with a wonderful terrace. Staff were super friendly and professional, we adored the sunset dinners and cocktails. Overall a wonderful experience and exceptional value.

Our family of 11 just returned from a week at Casa Ysuri that I can only describe as Heavenly.  The house was beautiful and allowed all three families an area of their own.  Our five grandchildren spent hours in the pool and at the beach which gave the parents time to read and relax.  It was the perfect vacation and  the best part was the STAFF!  The night man, Mauricio, had the coffee ready when we got up.  Sandra’s breakfast were amazing and  just when we thought we were finished she would come out with another tasty item.  Tito, our delightful waiter, was never without a smile and besides serving food and making drinks for adults and children he kept us smiling.  Erika always had a smile while cleaning and doing the laundry, George, the chef, belonged in a five star restaurant.  His lunches and dinners were a culinary delight.  Leti, the housekeeper, led her staff with love which made everything in the house run perfectly.  She worked hard to make our vacation a success from buying what was needed to arranging activities including massages and a piñata for our grandchildren.  She was the heart of the operation,  If you want the Perfect Vacation this is the place!  The staff became part of our family.  Let them become part of yours.
