This was one of the nicest hotels we stayed in on our vacation while visiting Holbox, Bacalar and Chetumal. The rooms were spacious, clean and lovely. It is just how it looks online-beautiful! They have a great breakfast/lunch restaurant with real good coffee, a beautiful large outdoor pool, waterslides open on the weekend and the grounds are kept immaculately. The staff was excellent and very accommodating. We found the best seafood restaurant we have ever eaten at only a couple of blocks away and other good restaurants in the neighborhood. It is a little ways out of the city centre so it is quiet and it only cost $2.50 to take a taxi downtown. Or less than a$1 to catch the city combie right outside the door. We would love to bring our family down here and spend more time in the area. It was really great!! We felt very safe and secure here.
