Hotel Villa Samary

Hotel Villa Samary was a beautiful hotel. The owner was very nice and the room was lovely, clean and spacious. The indoor courtyard was very cute and well-maintained. The hotel was quiet and we were able to rest and feel safe here. It is a very convenient location to both the lake and the main square. I would definitely recommend.

I spent nine days at Hotel Villa Samary and highly recommend this hotel as it is just around the corner from the main square (Zocallo) and is ever so clean and affordable.  The promotion rate was 400 pesos for a single and 500 pesos for a double and is the least expensive place to stay in Chapala.  The staff spoke English and I booked directly with the hotel to get the best rate.  It is only 2 short blocks to Lake Chapala and the wonderful, clean malecon.  This is a perfect example of a typical  Mexican town and a short distance from Guadaljara.  Everyone is friendly in this town and the malecon and the zoocalo have benches were one can sit and enjoy the scenery.  The white pelicans were a treat to see in the lake which is the largest lake in Mexico. There are no shortage of restaurants which offer typical Mexican cuisine or international food. WIFI which was free was very fast and dependable

Bed was hard . Our chandler was a lightbulb hanging from the ceiling ms. Maria made it all worthwhile she was as sweet as honey. For the price $ you can't beat it and it's close to everything I will go back again .
